Listening to the rumbling of the others voice through his chest, he was filled with comfort. Despite the fact that Kylo was speaking of leaving him again. He listened patiently, though he knew what it meant.

Recovery, alone in his room. Well, alone in Kylo's room...until the mattress was replaced. Raising his head with a groan, he studied his face for a moment, " Do you --would you---" he stopped and sighed briefly, " when I'm feeling ---when I've had more time to recover, do you think---would I be allowed to---have something to occupy my day?"

He immediately hated that he sounded like a child asking permission to read a book or something as menial. "it's ---it's just that it would ---likely help me maintain---uh--mental clarify and --help with my --overall transition into the Order..."

Stumbling over his explanation, he continued, " I know you're very busy---and rightly so--" pausing he bit his lower lip, wincing in pain, he had forgotten the cut already, " it would be unfair to assume that you can be with me at all times, and you don't trust anyone else with me......Im-- just -- just trying to help...trying to be useful."

He let his head fall back down to the others chest, he didn't want to see any look of disappointment in his eyes.
