character in general: CHRISTINE. I FUCKING LOVE CHRISTINE. She was the first (and only) character I fell in love with upon seeing POTO for the first time, and I feel like she’s got so much potential in her to be everything she wants to be. I admit, it took me a while to warm up to Raoul (and an even longer while for Erik) but I immediately sort of latched onto Christine for all that she represents: the need for familiarity and comfort (and to show that THIS IS NOT A WEAKNESS) and the need to break away. She’s a girl and unapologetic for it (unlike some portrayals of strong women I see that try to break away from their femininity) and growing into a woman, and her story is so, so important to me.how they play them: I love it. Christine, like everyone else, is vulnerable before she learns to stand up for herself. And while my Erik doesn’t do much to encourage her independence, she still responds in a realistic way — both with hesitance and helplessness to obey. It’s a thing, it happens with victims of emotional abuse, and you show that perfectly. She’s so caring and selfless but also slowly growing to realise (subconsciously, I feel) that Erik is quite toxic for her. And it’s GREAT.the mun: Already answered!

follow them: yes.rp with them: yes.want to rp with them: yesssship their character with mine: no. I love E/C, but only when both are in a stable enough state of mind to work towards building a better, non-toxic relationship between them. These two haven’t reached that point, and I’m not sure if they ever will.
what is my;
overall opinion: GO FOLLOW THIS PERSON FOR A PERFECT CHRISTINE.

character in general: RAWL. I LOVE RAOUL. He’s a complete sweetheart, as naive as he is brave. He’s a gentle soul with good intentions, but sometimes I feel like he’s a bit too used to getting his way to realise that some of his intentions may not be all that beneficial (”Christine, you don’t have to, they can’t make you” to “Christine, Christine, don’t think that I don’t care, but every hope and every prayer rests on you now.”) I feel this way mostly due to Hadley’s interpretation of him (which seems to be unpopular, but the one I’m most fond of) since it shows how, in his need to be protective, he can also unintentionally cause distress. (Not comparing him to Erik in any way, mind you. Erik is a different story altogether.)how they play them: I feel like we haven’t done enough serious roleplays for me to judge objectively, but from what I’ve seen of other threads Raoul is this brave, cute hero-type character and it’s absolutely him. But crack!Raoul is savage. I love how much these two hate each other. I ship their hatred, if that’s a thing.the mun: Answered!
