So right around this time, a year ago, This song and video saved my life. and I SERIOUSLY couldn't be here without this band. I wouldn't of made it as far as I have without them. They've helped me so much in a short little year, and I can't wait to thank them in person for it.

Sylar vs. Spock

I know the recent Star Trek movie came out and yay; Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

But am I the only one that has to remember that Spock does not gain super powers by eating people's brains like Quinto's tv show villain Sylar from Heroes does???

soooo I decided to watch the astonishing x-men, it was rated MA14 and since Joss whedon wrote it I thought it was going to be the greatest thing i've ever laid eyes on........

boy was I wrong..

first of all how the fuck do you have an x men program without storm? she is the OG, most powerful, best X-man there ever was. The only OG characters they used were Wolverine (of course) cyclops, and Hank, which I actually liked cyclops for once in my life and I didn't mind no Jean and his relationship with Emma Frost but this whole BS between collassus and Kitty Pryde was annoying and pointless. The story could've been 1900939439857 more successful if he just used Rogue and Gambit for the rocky romance.... They also had a character that resembled Jubilee (young student, wolverine cares about her a lot n shit) who was Japanese and I thought she was great as well.

He brought the fantastic 4 in there a couple of times and how they were like the "celebrity" superheroes/muntants and I think the show would have been more interesting if they tapped into that a little more, some stories about how the X-Men are more like the hated heroes because they are all a little more "free" than say captain america/fantastic 4. After all that's why we love them so much! X men never have played by the same rules as say the Justice League 

I feel like if they were going to do cameos why weren't we seeing rogue, storm, gambit, magneto, iceman, etc etc etc especially when the professor is involved. 

also while im on the subject

I recently read a comic book where rogue used her powers more like Peter Petrelli ( heroes reference for those who don't know) instead of just draining people and then getting stuck with all their baggage (which it would've been really interesting if say sylar got all the memories and emotional baggage with all the powers he took) she just touches them a little and aquires their powers momentarily, which makes her even more unstoppable when she stays mobbin with a regen, psyhic, weather witch and someone with kinetic energy. 

oh and I don't have enough room on my phone to update injustice so I can't play :(
