Okay so the awesome heretherebefantrolls made a sorta drabble thing for the "If my muse found your muse dead" thing also THESE TWO AREN'T EVEN OFFICAL KISMESIS YET BUT OMG THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER

Jaevis followed his lusus down the cliffside and towards the beach. He’d been told something had washed up on shore, and his lusus was curious if he could eat it. The disgusting glutton. He was a marine iguana, supposed to be an herbivore but no he wanted flesh. Jaevis only rolled his eyes but as they neared the beach he saw a flash of purple. A familiar purple. That infuriating pinkish purple. He ran down the slopes of the jagged rocks further, bypassing his lusus and out onto the sand, scattering the beige grains everywhere. His feet didn’t stop as he crossed the beach, going down to where the water met the land. Jaevis swallowed what felt to be like his bloodpusher in his throat back down before kneeling. It was Termae. He hesitated then reached out, feeling for some kind of pulse in his neck or wrists. He didn’t feel one. The landdweller leaned down and pressed a trained ear to the others chest. Still nothing. He sat back up and stared down at the other, eventually picking him up and gathering him into his arms. His kismesis was dead. Jaevis could feel the unnatural cold that had set into Termae’s corpse—cadaver really. He’d been found in the water after all— and it chilled him to the bone. His skin was paler than was normal, and dark circles were under sunken eyes. His bright fins—those things Jaevis had ripped earrings out of before—seemed even dull and drooping. He choke back a sob that had caught in his throat. Tears he hadn’t noticed were streaming down his cheeks, messing up his perfectly executed face paint. Who could do this to his possessive kismesis? He had hated him in that romantic sense trolls often felt for one another, but he had never wished him ill at the hands of another. Everything from that gaudy jewelry, obsession for knives, flashy bloodcolor and creepy, wide smile had made him so angry, but he’d felt attracted to it all. And now he felt empty. This wasn’t his Termae. Just a corpse that had taken on his likeness.
