Chedworth Roman Villa
I loved it here, this is my favourite Roman Villa we’ve visited (so far). The mosaic here blew my mind! The preservation of the Roman artefacts is incredible and the hypocaust remains in tact. A wonderful site, that’s well worth the visit. As an added bonus you get to enjoy the local fauna and flora in the beautiful countryside surroundings - RoxyB.
A bit out in the sticks mind you, but well worth visiting and nearly having a head on collision down some old country lane. Set in the Absolutely magnificent Cotswold's I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to set up home, and neither could the Romans. -TommyC
