The sea has always been rough, the further out from land and the weather impacted the current of the ocean no matter if it were Pacific, Atlantic, Indian etc. They all acted the same. And that left Hermann holding onto the rail of the ship Shao Industries had brought with a tight grip. They had set out in research of where (not) Newton had reopened the breach. Scientists and researchers clung desperately to the railings as the ship sailed closer. Something didn’t feel right. It wasn’t just Hermann’s sea-sickness; there was something else. If he believed in superstition or odd feelings, he’d say that the further out they went, the more it felt. Off. The ship crashed into a wave, jerking it’s passengers and forced Hermann to almost drop to his knees. Out in the distance, a bright light was forming from the water ahead of them. Shouts surrounded him, both PPDC officials and Shao employers were pointing but before anything could be done, the water seemed to open up around the light and the ship crashed down into it. @hermanngottlied
