Decided todo a redraw of this post from back in December and...Man. Man I’m kind of in shock about the difference between the two. I spent like a day on the background for this piece, then another day for Bdubs as well as the rendering and stuff. I have spent so long rendering this, the file had like 200+ layers and I had to condense the background and copy paste it into another image. That is how big this was. I will be plopping the background and the unglitched version under the cut

Bdubs died?

Nah, he just became moss. The Hermits need to find three moss blocks so they can rebuild Bdubs for season 9.

it's 6am, i just got woken up by my own brain, and i have to know:

we know bdubs put a brave face on everything before the moon hit, but how?

did he stand there, arms open wide, eyes blazing, waiting for the call of a doom that was known to him since day one?

did he simply sit and wait, on the porch in front of his favorite place on Earth, with gravity fucking everything over and the wind blowing his hood off his head and the wind chimes he hung there so long ago making little noises to themselves?

or, maybe, he never had time for any of that.

maybe he turned around while packing and saw it on a collision course for earth and fell to his knees, strong and brave and stubborn against every assualt but this, this breaking of the world, this call to arms by some far-off horn.

i have to know: out of all the ways there are to take death, which one did he choose?

But nothing could replace the small, four person house Tango had basically been raised in… nothing could replace the small room downstairs with a large television set up, or his bedroom upstairs adorned in Nether blocks, or the fact he and Zed slept in rooms right next to each other, so much that they could practically hear the other talking to himself at night….”
