We are so excited to announce our first ever Edens Zero Pride Event, hosted by us, the lgbt* network for all Edens Zero content and events. 

For this event we will be hosting a week, dedicated to lgbt* identities within the fandom. 

June 22nd - Time / Blossom

June 23rd - Demons / Grand

June 24th - Gravity / Tears

June 25th - Protect / Digital 

June 26th - Saviour / False

June 27th - Debt / Flame

June 28th - Space / Love

We will accept: 

Fanfiction, fanart, edits / aesthetics, AMVs / fancams, playlists, analysis, and any other form of content that you can think of

18+ content so long as it is tagged appropriately 

Crossovers to other works by Mashima (eg. Rave Master, Fairy Tail)

Segments of an ongoing work so long as it has never been published before

Early / late entries. Before / after the week we will not track the tag, but if you @ us we will still promote your content

We will NOT accept:

Anything which is not 100% your own work unless permission is publicly given

Inc*st or paed*ophilia

Ship / Character bashing

To submit your entries you can either @ us in what you create, or use the hashtag #edenszeropride. All we want is to promote lgbt* content within the fandom and have fun whilst doing it, so please enjoy yourselves!

The official LGBT* Edens Zero Network is finally here!

We are a couple of LGBT* content creators and fond members of the community who would like to not only build relationships with other similar individuals, but also create more LGBT* content and promote it throughout the fandom.

Although our blog is currently in the early stages of development, there is a discord server which would be mandatory to join. In order to keep the group a safe space we only ask that you ask a member of our admin team:

Are you not LGBT* but still love Edens Zero? Don't fret, this group is for everyone! We are emphasising the support and promotion of LGBT* content within the fandom, but the group itself is set to be a safe and loving environment for all who would like to enjoy it. Although please be aware, any kind of intolerance will not be allowed.

If you want to be involved but don’t want to join the group directly, this blog takes requests for edits, aesthetics, fanfics, and headcanons. Just specify what you’d like and we’ll do our best :)

Why aren't Edens Zero's Vines videos released yet?

You know, I've tried to ignore this for as long as possible. I believed if I ignore it long enough it will just go away. But I can't pretend I don't see it anymore. I don't care if all of Edens zero fandom ends up hating me I can't keep ignoring this anymore especially after the latest chapter.

Hermit is a child. It doesn't matter how old she actually is because she looks like a child. The actual age of characters in manga and anime, and in any visual medium absolutely doesn't matter. Characters in manga hardly ever act their age. What matters is how old they look.

When you look at hermit, you see a child. There was absolutely no reason for her to look like a child, especially when the other three shining stars don't. But she does. It doesn't matter that she has an adult form now because she's gonna go back to her child form sooner or later.

Everytime you ship a couple you don't look up their canon ages when you ship them. You judge the character's age by how old they look.

When you ship her with Weisz, you are shipping an adult with a child. When you look at a panel with them, it shows an adult and a child. You can tell yourself that her actually age is different but it doesn't matter.

Even if for some reason she stays in her adult for, Weisz and her relationship was still formed when she looked like a child.

I like romance as much as the next person but not every relationship is supposed to be romantic. Manga in general tends to be a little intense when it comes to friendships and Mashima let's his characters be gentle with each other in a way that is mostly reserved for romantic relationship. You will see traces of romantic relationship in completely platonic relationship in his works.

So even if you can point to some evidence of a romantic scene, I will bet you anything that a similar scene has taken place between friends in his works.

A while ago I speculated about a romantic relationship between Weisz and Laguna. (Mind you I am not a yaoi fan. I rarely if ever ship a couple that doesn't have a female character in it. This is not a ship war thing.) I had people in comments telling me how wer/mit was actually going to be canon. And it's astounding that ther are people who would ship Weisz with a character that looks like a child before even considering the idea of him being bi.

I know some wer//mit shippers have recieved abusive, racists and hateful anons and I absolutely do not condone that. However it doesn't change the fact that the ship itself is pedophilic and absolutely nothing that happens in the manga will ever change that.
