Outdoorsy Headcannons for little! Bdubs and little! Mumbo!

🐇 When Bdubs is small, he loves beung outdoors and gawking at all the wildlife around him. He knows to keep his distance so he can watch for longer. Very observant little guy!

🧗 Mumbo loves to climb no matter the headspace. He prefers climbing hills and rock sides. Bdubs on the other hand keeps to the ground until he is in kidspace, immediately getting the impulse to climb any tree in sight.

🏖️ Both of them love the sandbox! Mumbo likes digging holes until he reaches the bottom while Bdubs likes making sandcastles. If they were at the beach, Mumbo would make the moat and get water while Bdubs would make the castle and set up their dinosaur toys or figures around the castle.

☘️ Mumbo picks at the grass when he is bored. Bdubs respects the plants and gets mad at Mumbo when he tears them out for no reason.

💭 When they are curious about an animal or plant, Bdubs likes to research about it in books and online articles. Mumbo prefers to learn through purely observation and theory crafting. He has made many urban legends.

🧼 Despite what his fancy suit and mustache might make you think, Mumbo is never afraid to get messy. He loves digging in the dirt and coming home with leaves and mulch in his hair. That’s when you know he had fun.

🌳 Bdubs loves to spend time sitting under the shade of a tree. Whether he’s taking a nap in a hammock or sketching his next build, it’s always better outside under a tree. The wind, the birds, the bright sky; he loves it. Always makes him feel like a kid again.

Love the idea of Bdubs and Mumbo hanging out outside when little! Bdubs and Mumbo would definitely convince their CGs to run something like a nature school with all the outdoor activities. Gem and False are very frequent visitors.

In season 11, their spot has been Mumbo's wheatfield but Bdubs river and cliffs is a close second. All the trampled bits of Mumbo's wheatfield he was complaining about are totally not related to littles laying there and watching the geese flap.

Anon is talking about the first skin with the link but all the skins are so cutie!!

She's just a little clown girlie in her footie pajamas, her hood up, and her cutie little nose on. In the shorts outfits she's definitely wearing little frilly socks and no shoes.

Misadventures is such a sweet little server (if you ignore the dungeons). Shelby is just having a sweet time in her little circus, designing all her rides and sewing outfits for her friends.

All the circus rides were totally planned out first in crayon before Shelby ever thought of block palettes or redstone. Just a little clown, safe in her tent doodling the tea cups and ferris wheels.

Shelby usually just sews for herself on other servers but she decided to offer her services for money this season. She's taken it very seriously but watching her friends compliment her work just sends her straight into the nicest, fuzziest headspace.

She's totally been sewing away on Christmas SMP making tons of Santa hats for all of her animals. Totally not pranking others around her with cows wearing hats. (Her island of wives is totally just island of CGs)

Hii I was wondering if you have any thoughts on little Etho? I adore him and I need more people’s thoughts on him (not at all mandatory but if you also have any thoughts on him having scar as a carer I would love to hear)

Little!Etho, my beloved!!

When he first started regressing he thought he was older than he actually was. He wouldn’t talk to many people about it but he was convinced that he regressed to like 10-13. This was very wrong, he is so baby. It took talking to Pearl about teen regression and seeing Gem regress to realize that maybe he was wrong…

Struggles a little more with his motor skills when regressed. He’s brushing hair out of his face with his whole hand and really struggles with picking papers or coins up off of tables.

Little gear and stuffies are something that Etho felt a lot of shame around and wouldn’t keep. He has had a lot of help changing this mindset, Gem and Cleo being really big help. He now has a stuffie that he can whip out whenever he needs it. No one knows where he keeps it, in his inventory, shulker box, or ender chest but it’s always available in seconds notice.

-> It’s an arctic fox that was gift to him from Pearl when she realized he was regressing littler than he would claim. He tried to get rid of it or regift it to Gem but he can’t give away a nice present.

He loves watching Minecraft videos when little. He likes something thats nice and calming. A Bdubs building video is a good go to.

He’s always sooo sleepy. Maybe it’s because he usually regresses late afternoon or close to bedtime or maybe it’s the nice warm cuddles that his CGs are more than willing to provide.

CG!Etho with a scar

Etho isn’t the first CG with a scar (GTWS has him beat) but he is the first with a facial scar. Honestly, he’s more worried about it than the littles. He’s worries that having a facial scar might make him look scary to the littles. They however don’t care very much. Everyone has known Etho for a while so its not unsettling its just Etho <3

His scar is quite old but it has healed red and affected his vision. Usually it’s not too bad but depth perception with only one fully functioning eye is difficult. However, sippy cups make everything easier. Lots of little gear is designed for littles to not spill things but it also works when your carer misses the edge of the table.

Littles love drawing Etho! Not a lot of people have two colored eyes or red. They have lots of fun making him pose. Etho collects the drawings for days when he worries about what the hermits think.

Littles love asking questions! Which is understandable, there’s a natural curiosity in little kids. He doesn’t tell them the real story but he always has a silly story for them. He says that a unicorn scratched his eye and that’s what made it red.

Scar loves hanging out with Etho! Sometimes he feels subconscious about his own scars when little but seeing Etho be confident regardless helps! Skizz is a big fan too, he doesn’t have the confidence issues (because it’s Skizz!) but loves being around someone that understands.

Hope these CG!Etho headcanons were good! Might not be what you expected but I didn’t want to lean into the “scars are scary” thing. I don’t think scars are scary and I don’t think people have that innately. I believe curiosity is more likely especially since littles already know Etho and are comfortable with him.

One of my favorite Regressor Mumbo headcanons is the idea that, for the longest time, he didnt think he could regressor. He could never get into the headspace, and always was too tense or anxious to really slip. He just felt like a grown man sitting on the floor surrounded by children's toys making a fool of himself. (the height never helped, because it made him feel even bigger next to this stuff)

But then somehow, whether it's because he's got too much on his plate, or because one of his friends helps him truly relax, he regresses and it's /really/ nice. It really makes him happy.

Tldr: Idk, maybe it's a bit too much of me projecting, but it just feels right to me for Mumbo to have had a hard time with it, but be really soothed by being little one he figures it out.

Little!Mumbo!!

He was definitely a little late to regressing in regards to the other hermits. Everyone else was pretty cemented in what they preferred weither it be regressing, age dreaming, caregiving, babysitting, or any of the above. He definitely felt like he waited too long to explore that but everyone was very happy to help him or just hang out and talk about their experiences with regression.

Anxiety and trying to regress is not the combo one is going for. Mumbo hasn’t had an issue with shame like some of the other regressors but he does have lots of nerves. Worried that somethings going to happen to someone he cares about or how he’s going to feel.

He tries all the tips that were shared with him. Laying on the floor, things that remind him if when he was younger, little redstone kits that all the other redstoners get, and all the gear. They don’t really work for him the way he expected. Or maybe he didn’t know how he was supposed to feel.

The first time he regresses he’s with Grian. Grian had convinced him to regress while he was there. They had talked about Mumbo’s anxiety and Grian is the perfect person to quell that. It took a couple times of hanging out before it hit.

When he finally regressed the first time it was a very sweet time with G! Mumbo was resting, trying to ignore his anxiety and all the things he needs to do. Grian was running his fingers through Mumbo’s hair and talking sweetly to fight his unspoken anxieties. Grian notices that Mumbo is little before Mumbo noticed.

Mumbo has about 3 modes when little: super cuddly, bubbliest artist, and very anxious. No one knows which one its going to be until he’s in it. Usually cuddly and anxious ends with Mumbo in the arms of whoever he’s with. When he’s bubbly it usually consists of him sitting at the table drawing, swinging his feet, and talking drawing, art, or redstone to whoever is close enough to be considered listening.

Here's some regressor holiday headcanons!

The main holiday traditions I'll be talking about is more Christmas based, if that makes you uncomfortable this will probably be the only holiday or religion adjacent post. I also will only be talking about Hermits who are part of the holiday merch (Etho will not be part of this for that reason.)

This season, everyone is visiting Doc to play in the snow and build snowpeople! The platform where eventually his "very scary and intimidating" ice base will be is covered in snow angels and slightly deformed snowpeople.

Jevin has decided that *everyone* (who celebrates) should decorate their base so he's taken to pranking them. There is garland on Gem's bridge and a wreath on the gate house of DO3. Some other hermits have started helping him out. No base is too far to be decorated!

Baking is a classic for the littles! Plenty of cookie doughs to help mix, and totally not sneak bites when their CG has their back turned. No one has gotten sick yet but there is not as many cookies as there should be. Safe to eat raw cookie dough recipes have been the saviors for the sugar cookies and ginger bread that needs to be made.

Every year they forget that doing ginger bread houses with babies does not end well. Every year they swear it will be fine! Then one babies house falls down, there are tears, everyone is crying, crashing from a sugar high, disastrous! They swear they will never do it again. Then the holidays come around and someone sees kits at the store and brings them home.

Card making however, has the opposite effect. Everyone loves it and it goes well and they always forget how much fun the kids have! It definitely gets messy, totally not Zed who about 20 minutes in decides to finger paint instead.

The hermits spend time with each other while regressed but most of the time they end up sticking to their main CG. Around the holidays they end up hanging out in bigger groups to do more activities together.

The first snow in season affected biomes was a big deal! Everyone was running outside and trying to catch snowflakes. They were all having super fun.

Nice Life Spoilers!!

Scar and Bdubs going out caroling was 100% them vocal stimming while regressed. Bdubs really wanted to sing his song but Scar didn't know that one so he just sang whatever he wanted. Then it just continued to derail as Jimmy and Ren joined.

The concept of Nice Life was made by Grian when he was little. He wanted to do holiday things with his lifer friends. He went to Christmas Vibes SMP but it wasn't the same :( He also wanted to bring back Quiz Bot because that his friend!

Little! Grian Headcanons!

🥄 Grian likes being spoon fed while small.

😵‍💫 Also he is clumsy with his wings while little, they feel too big for his body.

🦆 He has a rubber ducky collection and likes playing with them while taking bubble baths.

🌳 Will climbs trees like a cat, but he can fly so he doesn’t get stuck.

🐈‍⬛ Big cat enjoyer. If any cats are around he is always snuggling or petting them and cooing at them in a high pitched baby voice.

✏️ Likes doodling no matter the headspace, but his doddles become messier the smaller he is. He insists that every picture he make gets put up on the fridge.

🛌 Will only sleep with cuddles.

😈 Sneaky prankster baby. Grian loves sneaking around and getting into trouble.

🤫 Giggles loudly and peeks out from his hiding spot during hide and seek.

That’s all I’ve got rn. It’s 4am and I have to wake up early tomorrow… Um Yes, I do have a very healthy sleep schedule and prioritize properly, clearly 🙄

I will always love little!Grian because it was the first hermitcraft agere I saw and is how I learned that this was something the people wanted.

Grian is one of the clingiest littles ever!! He wants constant cuddles, his hand held, or to be carried. If he is off doing something and his CG is watching (ex. running around outside or playing in the other room) he will check in all the time. He’ll just run over and say hi or stare from up close with his big void eyes.

The hermits buy him so much bird stuff! If the bird has red wings they are thinking of Grian and HAVE to get it for him. He loves this, his friends and CGs thinking about him to get him birds that remind them of him. This does lead to some naming difficulties because “birdy” and “red” are already taken. The names have slowly gotten weirder. Think animal shelters trying to name cats (ex. Atomic Toaster, Bologna Sandwich, Captain Crunch).

The hide and seek giggling is so true! Then he’s always shocked how they find him so quickly. CGs are a little nicer and look for longer but little friends will beeline when they hear his giggles.

Little and CG! Grian

Little!Grian

🦜: The whole permit office arc of season 10 was just so Grian could bug his friends. That was peak sillies for him. Bringing Scar, Skizz, and Cub in was just cause he wanted more friends to play with.

🚦: While “what doin?” isn’t always the best guess of whether Grian is little or not if a hermit guess wrong (assuming he’s little when he’s not) it takes very little after that to be full on regressed.

📜: He would rather spend time with his friends talking, joking, and causing general mayhem over more traditional activities or arts and crafts.

🎣: He did try fishing with Gem while he was little but was even more frustrated than normal when getting non-mending books or someone else fished a book.

🦜: He has some anxiety around regressing which pair extremely well with the anxiety that makes him regress. He tends to be very clingy with his CG or a little friend that’s with him.

🚦: A big fan of parks and playgrounds. The swings are his favorite because it feels like flying (Avian!Grian?) He also enjoys having a CG push him on the swing.

📜: The pickiest little! About everything, clothing, food, snacks, movies, you name it he feels very strongly about it.

🎣: He is very quiet when little, not always not verbal but quite a bit of the time he is primarily whispering to his CG. Especially if others are around.

CG!Grian

🦜: He loves setting up games and activities for his littles. What ever they like he’s turning it into a whole event.

🚦: Loves doing things around his base with the littles. He would be planting his giant wheat field with a little at his heels asking questions, placing sunflowers, or asking to help plant seeds on the freshly tilled fields.

📜: With his really comforting and primarily outdoor base, he loves spending time watching the littles play and swim in the lake from the dock.

🎣: If he’s watching a little who is big on pranking he’s not going to “help” them prank a friend but he will supply blocks or redstone. Definitely there to watch over and keep them safe and not as an assist to the prank. Definitely…

🦜: He loves to set up an outdoor movie! He has space outside that’s open and some covered spots just incase it starts raining. Everyone loves to all get together as a group and a lot of littles regress together.

🚦: Permit Master was completely set up for a group of littles to have the silliest of times and Grian was very proud of that :)

📜: He’s definitely very soft about rules that he makes about bedtime or eating vegetables at dinner. He’s not a very strict CG which does occasionally get taken advantage with some puppy dog eyes.

🎣: With the hermits recent obsession with Pokémon has led to Grian opening lots of packs and playing plenty of rounds of the card game. Many littles had started watching the show with him. Everyone really enjoys it, especially Grian.

jimmy headcanons of mine c:

🐣 for a while there jimmy did'nt know what he was doing, only thatsometimes his head got fuzzy and he felt small and uncoordinated. was'nt til he regresses infront of someone who knows about it that he learned what its called

🩵 how small he regresses is a bit random, sometimes just to 6-7, other times 3-4. only regresses smaller than 3 around specific people, like lizzie

🐣 his favorite toys are a stuffed monkey he won himself in an arcade a while back with the others, and a canary plushie from grian.

🩵 it doesnt happen every time, but sometimes chews on and eats things he should'nt when hes on the younger side. paper, crayons, his blankie, candy wrappers. the textures make him happy! he has a lot of stuff to help curb this from his caretakers, like chewelry and his pacis

🐣 when hes in the 6-7 range, hes like a little parrot. jimmy mimics things, especially words he finds funny. there was a time where he remembered the word skibidi and just kept saying it, much to the exaspheration of his caretaker that day

🩵 when he becomes a sleepy little, he becomes a very sleepy little. whines about it if you try to make him go to bed, but hes curled to your side and yawning every little bit. also he wont let you leave once you do get him in bed

🐣 for him, regression in the life series can be a bit messy, if its ar the wrong time. one mention of people dying and he gets emotional fast.

🩵 his go to caretakers during the games specifically are, depending on whos around: lizzie, joel, scott, tango, or his current teammate(s). martyn is on this list when hes 6-7, less so when he's 3-4. grian is hit or miss

🐣 he likes being called bub when hes little, it makes him giggly

Jimmy 1000% gets called "Tiny Tim" by Grian (and others) when regressed and gets fake mad about it every time.

He's totally one of the kids that needs snacks all the time. Doesn't matter if he just ate a meal or if him and his CG are going out for half an hour that boy needs fruit snacks and goldfish with him.

He doesn't have lots of gear but the gear he has is very sentimental to him. Pretty much everything has been gifted to him or has been told by others that he reminds him of it (canaries).
