This is a new SFW agere blog talking about headcanons people have about members of Hermitcraft :)

This blog is purely SFW and any NSFW asks will be deleted. Other MCYTs are welcome! I can only write headcanons about MCYTs I know so if I don’t get to you ask, that might be why. The only other SMPs that I know and would feel comfortable writing about is Misadventures and the Life Series (any season). But I will post any (appropriate) ask sent in.

Me ignoring all the asks to do my own post?? What? Never!

Here's some regressor holiday headcanons!

The main holiday traditions I'll be talking about is more Christmas based, if that makes you uncomfortable this will probably be the only holiday or religion adjacent post. I also will only be talking about Hermits who are part of the holiday merch (Etho will not be part of this for that reason.)

This season, everyone is visiting Doc to play in the snow and build snowpeople! The platform where eventually his "very scary and intimidating" ice base will be is covered in snow angels and slightly deformed snowpeople.

Jevin has decided that *everyone* (who celebrates) should decorate their base so he's taken to pranking them. There is garland on Gem's bridge and a wreath on the gate house of DO3. Some other hermits have started helping him out. No base is too far to be decorated!

Baking is a classic for the littles! Plenty of cookie doughs to help mix, and totally not sneak bites when their CG has their back turned. No one has gotten sick yet but there is not as many cookies as there should be. Safe to eat raw cookie dough recipes have been the saviors for the sugar cookies and ginger bread that needs to be made.

Every year they forget that doing ginger bread houses with babies does not end well. Every year they swear it will be fine! Then one babies house falls down, there are tears, everyone is crying, crashing from a sugar high, disastrous! They swear they will never do it again. Then the holidays come around and someone sees kits at the store and brings them home.

Card making however, has the opposite effect. Everyone loves it and it goes well and they always forget how much fun the kids have! It definitely gets messy, totally not Zed who about 20 minutes in decides to finger paint instead.

The hermits spend time with each other while regressed but most of the time they end up sticking to their main CG. Around the holidays they end up hanging out in bigger groups to do more activities together.

The first snow in season affected biomes was a big deal! Everyone was running outside and trying to catch snowflakes. They were all having super fun.

Nice Life Spoilers!!

Scar and Bdubs going out caroling was 100% them vocal stimming while regressed. Bdubs really wanted to sing his song but Scar didn't know that one so he just sang whatever he wanted. Then it just continued to derail as Jimmy and Ren joined.

The concept of Nice Life was made by Grian when he was little. He wanted to do holiday things with his lifer friends. He went to Christmas Vibes SMP but it wasn't the same :( He also wanted to bring back Quiz Bot because that his friend!

Outdoorsy Headcannons for little! Bdubs and little! Mumbo!

🐇 When Bdubs is small, he loves beung outdoors and gawking at all the wildlife around him. He knows to keep his distance so he can watch for longer. Very observant little guy!

🧗 Mumbo loves to climb no matter the headspace. He prefers climbing hills and rock sides. Bdubs on the other hand keeps to the ground until he is in kidspace, immediately getting the impulse to climb any tree in sight.

🏖️ Both of them love the sandbox! Mumbo likes digging holes until he reaches the bottom while Bdubs likes making sandcastles. If they were at the beach, Mumbo would make the moat and get water while Bdubs would make the castle and set up their dinosaur toys or figures around the castle.

☘️ Mumbo picks at the grass when he is bored. Bdubs respects the plants and gets mad at Mumbo when he tears them out for no reason.

💭 When they are curious about an animal or plant, Bdubs likes to research about it in books and online articles. Mumbo prefers to learn through purely observation and theory crafting. He has made many urban legends.

🧼 Despite what his fancy suit and mustache might make you think, Mumbo is never afraid to get messy. He loves digging in the dirt and coming home with leaves and mulch in his hair. That’s when you know he had fun.

🌳 Bdubs loves to spend time sitting under the shade of a tree. Whether he’s taking a nap in a hammock or sketching his next build, it’s always better outside under a tree. The wind, the birds, the bright sky; he loves it. Always makes him feel like a kid again.

Love the idea of Bdubs and Mumbo hanging out outside when little! Bdubs and Mumbo would definitely convince their CGs to run something like a nature school with all the outdoor activities. Gem and False are very frequent visitors.

In season 11, their spot has been Mumbo's wheatfield but Bdubs river and cliffs is a close second. All the trampled bits of Mumbo's wheatfield he was complaining about are totally not related to littles laying there and watching the geese flap.

Anon is talking about the first skin with the link but all the skins are so cutie!!

She's just a little clown girlie in her footie pajamas, her hood up, and her cutie little nose on. In the shorts outfits she's definitely wearing little frilly socks and no shoes.

Misadventures is such a sweet little server (if you ignore the dungeons). Shelby is just having a sweet time in her little circus, designing all her rides and sewing outfits for her friends.

All the circus rides were totally planned out first in crayon before Shelby ever thought of block palettes or redstone. Just a little clown, safe in her tent doodling the tea cups and ferris wheels.

Shelby usually just sews for herself on other servers but she decided to offer her services for money this season. She's taken it very seriously but watching her friends compliment her work just sends her straight into the nicest, fuzziest headspace.

She's totally been sewing away on Christmas SMP making tons of Santa hats for all of her animals. Totally not pranking others around her with cows wearing hats. (Her island of wives is totally just island of CGs)

Joe and Ren will collab alot to make the best show possible for the littles, its like Muppets with humans type of show, the best part? Anyone can participate! Littles, caregivers, hermits looking to have fun, it always a good time. -🦋

The fact this fits traditional Muppet things. Most Muppet based entertainment has mostly Muppets and one specific human so the idea of Joe and Ren recreating that is hilarious.

They always have a stage or two set up around the server, shopping district, their bases, the most central base, there is a stage.

When the Juppet was there for season 10, there was less need for puppets as Joe would just perform as the puppet. Joe was always a fan of puppets but he mainly did it because of the conversation they had with Gem. She will always be front and center at a puppet show.

The Juppet will be making season 11 appearances as a puppet on Joe's hand and not *as* Joe. (Manifesting because I love the Juppet skin).

Ren and Joe have brainstorming sessions for good storylines and the way they feed off of each other creates the wackiest concepts. That and the improv as they slowly become more and more little while performing.

Interactive formats are something they love doing but have learnt that there are a couple of nervous littles so they go for volunteers rather than picking people at random. Some nervous littles just need a little push so whoever is watching over them will volunteer to mess around, then the little will be less nervous.

In season 10, they brought over a few friends from Misadventures and they told their lore from the server for story time. They also did this for the Hermitcraft Empires Crossover in season 9. Everyone loved it! They are looking for other lore servers filled with friends to try this with.

jimmy headcanons of mine c:

🐣 for a while there jimmy did'nt know what he was doing, only thatsometimes his head got fuzzy and he felt small and uncoordinated. was'nt til he regresses infront of someone who knows about it that he learned what its called

🩵 how small he regresses is a bit random, sometimes just to 6-7, other times 3-4. only regresses smaller than 3 around specific people, like lizzie

🐣 his favorite toys are a stuffed monkey he won himself in an arcade a while back with the others, and a canary plushie from grian.

🩵 it doesnt happen every time, but sometimes chews on and eats things he should'nt when hes on the younger side. paper, crayons, his blankie, candy wrappers. the textures make him happy! he has a lot of stuff to help curb this from his caretakers, like chewelry and his pacis

🐣 when hes in the 6-7 range, hes like a little parrot. jimmy mimics things, especially words he finds funny. there was a time where he remembered the word skibidi and just kept saying it, much to the exaspheration of his caretaker that day

🩵 when he becomes a sleepy little, he becomes a very sleepy little. whines about it if you try to make him go to bed, but hes curled to your side and yawning every little bit. also he wont let you leave once you do get him in bed

🐣 for him, regression in the life series can be a bit messy, if its ar the wrong time. one mention of people dying and he gets emotional fast.

🩵 his go to caretakers during the games specifically are, depending on whos around: lizzie, joel, scott, tango, or his current teammate(s). martyn is on this list when hes 6-7, less so when he's 3-4. grian is hit or miss

🐣 he likes being called bub when hes little, it makes him giggly

Jimmy 1000% gets called "Tiny Tim" by Grian (and others) when regressed and gets fake mad about it every time.

He's totally one of the kids that needs snacks all the time. Doesn't matter if he just ate a meal or if him and his CG are going out for half an hour that boy needs fruit snacks and goldfish with him.

He doesn't have lots of gear but the gear he has is very sentimental to him. Pretty much everything has been gifted to him or has been told by others that he reminds him of it (canaries).

stuff i watched a ton of as a kid were handy manny, chuggington, and both barbie and bratz movies, though equestria girls is also super super good when i wanna be small. dunno what hermits any of those make me think of tho :(

Handy Manny: Completely going on vibes, I feel like it is quite Bdubs and Tango. The way that Handy Manny is feels very much like Bdubs and Tango. Gem and False are a big fan of the tools, I remember the tools bugging each other all the time and when it comes to annoying friends they enjoy that.

Chuggington: I feel the same about this show as I do Thomas the Tank Engine and it would 100% be a Keralis show, especially after watching his Create series. Impulse is also a fan because its trains.

I do fear I have great correlation between engineering and construction to redstone. Redstone is Minecraft engineering, is it not?

Barbie Movies: (This is talking about the 2000s-2010s Barbie movies not THE Barbie Movie) There is so many Barbie movies I feel like everyone has one that they like at least a little if they admit it or not. Barbie Nutcracker is 100% a yearly watch in the holiday season. There has definitely been a group watch through of all of them that totally wasn't started by Gem and Lizzie and very quickly gained a lot of people.

This is everyone's favorite that they will admit to

JoeHills: Barbie: Fairytopia & Mermaidia. Bibble is the most Joe Hills character that has ever Joe Hills'ed

Gem: Barbie in a Mermaid Tale. This isn't projecting (total not my favorite barbie movie) She loves the water and total try to get Lizzie to dye her hair after finishing the movie. They were busted by Joel and Impulse. Also Princess Charm School because of her Empires s1 bit as a magic educator.

Cleo: Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princess. It's a classic and beautiful fashion. A Fairy Secret is a very close second.

Pearl: Barbie: The Princess & The Popstar. Everyone tried to get her to like Princess and the Pauper as much as she likes this movie but it hasn't worked yet.

Lizzie (not a Hermit but I do what I want): Barbie and the Three Musketeers. Super girl power movie and she loves the kitty side kick.

Imp & Skizz: Barbie & the Diamond Castle. They love the scene of those dogs dancing the 2000s animation style really does it. And the rest of the movie is great too.

Bdubs: Will not admit to liking any specific movie but will consistently sing the Preminger "It's a temporary setback" song from Princess & The Pauper. He's not alone in this but he's the only one that would get caught.

Equestria Girls: Bdubs. He doesn't care, a horse is a horse. He did drag Etho into it, and Etho is in it now.

I never watched the Bratz movies so I don't know what they are about/who would like them so have a bonus.

Monster High (Kinda in the same realm of Barbie & Bratz): Easy answer, Cleo, obviously!! I feel like Ren would also enjoy this (Werewolf!Ren anybody?)

Can we tell which piece of media here I loved most as a child? Its definitely the one I didn't stop talking about.

Regardless, you are so right anon! Past life is the most baby coded life series by far (just wait until I get asks about Nice Life). Here's the other time I talked about Past Life.

Past Life (and outside of Past Life) sick Gem is so so baby. She's so upset that no one is seeing her as the big bad villain because her voice is just so little. Being nicknamed the Villies by Grian definitely didn't help though.

The awws was not helping her mindset and being so safe with the Villies and the Cabincore, she was a goner. However, being so tiny really helped with scamming her friends out of their materials.

The post-session regression time was very sweet and had lots of cough drops for Gem.

Joe and Cleo & anyone small

I've actually talked about this before!! These headcanons about Joe Hills cover that and here is Cleo's! I actually didn't realize I talked about this with both of them already until I went looking for it.

There is a art (I can't find it, I saw it on TikTok originally) of some of the hermits (c!) with Lizzie and Joel's baby. It was super cute and Cleo's part was talking about like development in babies.

Joe is talking to the babies because they want to be talking about whatever. Whether that be his projects like her movie set or bad TV prompts they're planning or a game they are interested in streaming.

Cleo is more talking for support of learning and naturally they just talk about what they are doing. Cleo has picked up a vocabulary book to find new and different words that way the littles are still learning.

Doc and Mumbo are also part of the just talking to babies like adults but for different reasons. Doc likes to explain redstone like he would in his videos to his littles because even if they know lots of redstone Doc's is so game breaking it is confusing regardless.

Mumbo however, is just because he doesn't know how else to talk to someone. Geese was a very big topic for the last month even if Mumbo isn't at his base.

this is self indulgent to the extreme, but im rewatching one of my favorite shows from when i was a kid, and ive got myself thinking about little hermits

the show is mighty machines, a show that explains how machinery works from the pov of the machines! my favorite episodes were always the steel mill and the newspaper press :D

i can see some of the littles on hermitcraft who enjoy machines and redstone getting really really excited about the show!

These are some shows I think little!hermits would enjoy that come from my childhood (2010s PBS & Qubo shows mostly)

Pearlie (Qubo show about a garden fairy): Very popular with Lizzie and she did make Pearl watch it with her. It’s Australian and the main characters name is Pearlie, she had to.

Odd Squad (PBS): The most Zed childrens show to exist. The rest of the ZITS are a fan too.

Jojos Circus: Joel discovered it towards the end of s10 and might have become obsessed. While not a hermit, Shubble is also a huge fan of Jojos Circus

Wild Kratts: Insanely popular with the little!hermits. Pearl, Ren, False, and Beef are the #1 leaders of getting the others to watch it as well.

They all watch a lot of other things besides 2010s TV (personally that just what I know). There is definitely a lot of Disney movies watched (old and new) and Minecraft videos. They are all bringing things from their childhood, one thing they all bond over is Sesame Street because regardless of country or age, that show has been around.

The reason I’m not posting is that I really struggle with consistent motivation to write. So I’ll get like half a post before I have no more ideas. I miss you all and would like to try to post more (I only say that every time I try to make a comeback)

I saw we needed more little!Wels headcanons so I provide! :D

⚔️ Wels is a knight of course, that being said he loves to play pretend with the other littles and be the knight to protect everyone! Even if they’re just playing house he’s still included as a knight because excluding people is bad.

There was a slight conflict once when Wels wanted to be a knight and False did aswell and the only solution was to battle it out! False won because fighting in full metal knight wear is difficult, but by that point it was just a pile of giggles.

🧀 Much like the other littles Wels loves Mac n cheese but unlike the other littles he likes peas in his Mac n cheese. It not gross, you can’t even taste them!

🏰 Wels may have a giant castle he built himself but when little its kind of difficult to play in such a big space so he has a smaller wooden castle that he painted when little and was gifted toys to play with, it’s like a doll house but with a fire breathing dragon.

🐉 Pearl and Wels love drawing dragons together.

🔥 Although dragons are fire breathing little!wels don’t have a spice tolerance. No Wels, eating Sriracha won’t make fire come out of your ears… learned that one the hard way.

💥 CG!Wels still loves to play pretend with the littles it much easier to protect them when he’s not stumbling over his footing. 

Little!Wels

Wels is spending his break from building in hermitcraft drawing all the dragons he can. When he heard Pearl was going to be a firefighter he KNEW he needs to make the best fire breathing dragon hermitcraft has ever seen! Gem is a big help with these plans. Their combined love of dragons and want to bug Pearly will be the best combo.

(Not my original hc) Wels loves medieval style unicorns! Cleo sewed him one after lots of infodumps about them and Wels absolutely adores it.

While Wels loves his usual daily armor some times it’s too heavy when he’s little so he’ll switch it out for dress up armor. Which is a lot lighter.

CG!Wels

Wels has the PERFECT base for any little that wants to play pretend princesses, dragons, or knights. It has the perfect vibe every time.

Wels always has fun making art with his littles. While they’re drawing or coloring he’s making a “family crest” for them. Some times is season dependent drawing inspiration from their base aesthetic or character they’re playing. Everyone loves setting them as shield designs.

Little!Jev

Definitely pretty quick to get overwhelmed. Being at his base is nice because it doesn’t feel like the hermitcraft server it just feels like a nice big hug.

Loves holidays!! He’ll even make up holidays or celebrate the super small silly ones like national pancake day. He takes this super serious. Several hermits have gotten “Happy ____ day” cards for random things. Sometimes because the hermits like that thing, happy catch a fish day to Grian, but some times completely unrelated, happy spork day to Cleo. All cards get free postage if Pearl gets one to hang in the post office!

The real undisclosed reason the no-poe was created? Jev wanted to hang out with Scar and Skizz more but they were always busy in the shopping district. He also wanted a pig with a silly name but it’s “not safe” for a baby to ride a pig.

Exile was also for a similar reason. Jev was okay with the PoePoe as long as they sent his friends to come to play time on exile.

Little!Joe Hills, my beloved

The silliest obviously!! CGs are always giggling or trying their best to keep a straight face (Cleo is trying their hardest).

The any pronouns stay regardless of age. If someone isn’t any-ing enough Joe will fight. That fight is usually small blocks being thrown at shins from across the room.

She loves digging!! If you couldn’t tell by their season 10 base. Most of the digging was done regressed with a CG nearby to make sure he wasn’t overdoing it and had plenty of water.

Drawing is definitely a favorite of theirs. The Juppet and BeetleJHost (spelling?) are reoccurring characters along with JoePumpkins in the fall months. All the hermits are on the search for the perfect chroma green marker. Zed is almost there if only it would stop exploding.

He loves a museum. Whether it be her own science museum or the fan art gallery a nice stroll is always welcome with this little one. Joe does like the zoo but it’s a little noisier. They typically stick to on-world museums because off of hermitcraft have too many people to be comfortably little.

CG!Joe Hills

Almost nothing phases them. His littles could be foaming at the mouth and levitating and Joe would be convinced everything is fine and they just need a nap.

Very theatrical but definitely gets way sillier than the others. You think it’s going to be a normal story or puppet show but Joe always has an unpredictable twist.

Does not baby voice. She will keep their normal speaking voice and just explain things that way. He’ll explain things that the littles might already understand as a way to keep them engaged and little.

Loves caring for a baby! They love all their littles but in baby space its so nice to just chat to them while they babble and take them around to place in hermit homedel that need more work.

The littles all have a spot together in hermit homedel. They can build whatever they want and they all really enjoy it. Joe sets out museum quality signs to signify who made what (and sometimes what it is or if it has a name). There’s a lot of notable builds, mainly towers and squares, but there is a lovely creeper hole provided by Scar.
