Hi! Since the hermit horrors zine doesn’t have the ask open, thought I’d ask you.

Is there any specific information about the zine for now? For example: the theme, is it landscape/ portrait for the artists, is comic allowed? And also since there is no work examples needed in the application form or questions about the characters the artist prefer to write/ draw, how are people going to be picked for this zine and how is it going to be assigned?

Sorry this is a lot to ask!

Thank you for telling me the asks where closed ! I've now opened them

Both artist and Writers Apps are now out and have more informations about what is wanted from the artists and Writers applying !

We're mostly asking if:

-artists have already drawn dark/gore/scary things

-are able to make both landscapes and portrait format illustrations

-are willing to collaborate with a writer to provide sketches of their chosen hermit

-comics won't be allowed, this zine will be strictly illustrations/ informations pages based

Writers will aslo be chosen based on how many pages they think they will write

And if they already have writen dark/journaly things

Artist and Writers can apply for both categories but there a lot of chances they won't be chosen for both

Me and the mods will chose who get in the zine based on all of that the 3rd of April !

Mods will be emailed at the end of the week too :]

I hope it answers everything you needed !

The forms should have more informations of what we need !

I'm not sure if this will get seen or not but will there ever be a second edition for this zine?

I wasn't aware of this when it came out but I've just discovered this zine and I'm in love with this concept !

Hey! First post in a very long time but yes! We would love to make a second edition of this zine :D Unfortunatly the two lead admins that took care of the first edition were busy with college and graduating but some brain storming has been done and we do want to come back with a second edition >:)
