I LOVE giving smart characters really dumb animal instincts and I just feel like this fits deep in my bones
After a nightmare encounter with a trio of Watchers, Grian realizes he needs to run. The Hermits and friends around him are no longer safe. Mumbo is no longer safe.
After vanishing without a trace, Mumbo realizes there is more going on behind the scenes. In order to find Grian, Mumbo will have to venture to an entirely new world, in hopes of finding the runaway.
Though, in doing so, the two may suffer the pain of growing apart.

I think my greatest accomplishment in writing fanfiction is coming up with a title for my Grumbo vampire au, that ends up spelling BAT (Blood And Tears). It’s small things like this that make me happy
Just wanted to let you guys know that I have a pretty good fic called The Fourth Star (the rewrite, the original is bad) and pls go read it I am desperate bc it’s not getting very many reads despite having seven chapters posted.
Its an Xisuma/Grian focused watcher au that also has a snake, set all the way back in season six (the original was written back in early season seven and I wanted to keep that plot point so sorry if you weren’t around for that)

New headcanon for Joe: instead of being a puppet, he’s just in a morph suit/green screen suit, and on his hand is his puppet. I think that makes the court case funnier in my brain, as Joe hides underneath the desk while essentially putting on a one-man puppet show
