-Not everyone hires him to be loud and explosive. Sometimes they hire him to slip into places and take things. Everything from supposedly priceless art, gems, other valuable things, hell even the occasional data dump. It’s how he gt his start, after all. Still. His one major flaw in being a master thief? A distinct lack of patience at times...and sometimes just not in the mood to slip back out like the wind. The alarm was a bit beyond his skillset so he knew that once he cracked the actual safe he’ll be lighting up the alarm system like a goddamn local Christmas tree. Whiiiich would be why he planted explosives to block off most of the exits. With luck and a lot of running like a madman he just might be able to get clear in the confusion without engaging the guards. Still. Something twigged his perception, causing him to look up.-
