The drive was rather soothing, but anything that isn't him throwing up his guts from kinda shit designed to ruin his day and/or life is pretty damn good right now. So of course it's not to last. With a groan he hauls himself to a sitting position to look out the back window. Squints.

"Yeah. Welp, it's official: this ID is burned. Guess I get to be someone else for a while."

He looks at her in the rear-view mirror and says, "One last favor'n then we're square: Make a big show of pullin' over and droppin' me off in front of that there alleyway 'fore takin' off."

Is he a hundred percent? Nope. Is he massively pissed off? h'oh yeah. And since these sons of bitches know he ain't yer average joe, the training wheels are coming OFF.

Even though part of her wanted to ask more questions and understand what the fuck was going on, Sivir's survival instincts reminded her that some things were better left unknown. She did not question Chimera's instructions and nodded when spoke "All right." It was not her business anyway.

The brunette used up all her driving skills that day, swerving and breaking at the right moments without crashing into other vehicles or people. Finally they reached fhe alley he mentioned.

An idea crossed her mind then. She quickly grabbed an extra burner phone she had in the glove compartment of the car and threw it at him "In case you need it."

He manages to not fumble the phone before shoving it in a pocket. She gets another appraising look, like he's re-evaluating some things.

"....Yeah, yer alright. I'll try not t'kill ya very hard if we're on other sides in the future." Hey, that's downright civil of him. And then he bails out of her ride, leaving her to tear out of there like the plan (such as it is) called for. Those cliche all-black SUVs don't seem to interested in her, not with Chi off-loaded.

How many new messy situations would they be in by the end of the year with the amount of new faces popping up constantly. Their enemies combined continued to grow each day. “I’m glad you agree, lying low won’t be so terrible.”

Chi grimaces. "I take it back, I think I'd rather invite 'em all to line up and take their chances. Or all at once, whatever makes 'em feel good."

Wow, a spectacularly dense idea even for you, Chi. He rolls his eyes and gives a vague shrug at Elektra. "Alright, alright, maybe not that but I'm warnin' ya: You're probably gonna regret goin' ta ground with me."

He thinks that over for a second, maybe even two. "Sorry in advance?"
