Life is life, lalaaaalalala 🎶
I’m totally fucked up concerning languages.
In a day I hear • Danish • German • Dutch • Icelandic • English • Norwegian • Swedish • even some Finnish
Yesterday while watching studfarms I tried explaining why I wanted to vote for one farm, one person to another, and I just kept messing up words in different languages. Dutch and English mostly, and some Icelandic words/names, and I ended up stuttering through the sentence and having to think about the words I’m going to use.
I love it here but my speech thingie is confused.
The actual picture this time! Efri-Rauðilækur show a few fine examples of their horses in the studfarm show on Friday.
This is what a world championship for icelandic horses looks like. We don't watch someone ride in silence, everyone cheers for the riders of their country OR when a combination is especially good. We clap along with the music that's played. Wave flags. Have fun!!! This was Trine Risvang with Hylur frá Austurkoti for Denmark, they scored a total of 7.2 in the T1 preliminary (first slow tölt and then fast tölt on the long sides of the oval track).
Tadah, a pic of the daily newspaper 😊 Teitur Árnason's face is priceless! Most riders were smiling during the pace 😁
ugh, why is there only one spot where you can have wifi and also load up your electric stuff like phones and laptops?
and why do people feel the need to stay here so LATE GO AWAY
madrivervalleyicelandics Your friends are here, and they’ve put up about six of these posters all around the volunteer/riders area x) I also saw a kid run around with a yellow tshirt and the ER logo on his back! Roos and I are going to keep an eye out for their horses in the next few days!
