She was stretching alongside him, feeling her own chi paths opening with the steam of the geyser helping to clear her skin and sweat out impurities.
Aang was with her, and she was taking him through movements... various stretches, positions. She was hoping this might be the end of it. He was having so many nightmares, and they were clearly getting to him. He had ridiculous demands of the entire team and everyone was clearly getting annoyed.
All she wanted was for them to be ok, and to make it out of this war together.
After Aang declared it felt warm, then hot as if he was in the Fire Lord’s throne room, and it was like he was shooting fireballs at him, he collapsed and started breathing heavily.
She leaned down, looking in his direction... She thought he might need to talk it out, but with whom exactly? Sokka tried to convince Katara that he was good at listening to people’s feelings. While she didn’t doubt her brother, she did doubt that he would be able Aang.
“Aang... are you ok?” she finally inquired. He didn’t look great. The bags under his eyes were getting worse by the day. He was slipping in and out of consciousness, and he was failing at basic training tasks. If he remained like this, he could be in serious danger when it came time for him to face Ozai -- something the entire world was expecting of him.
