“Now, let’s see...” Wandering around the camp, Ceres looked around for the last ingredient for her new spell. While any feather ought to do, she had hoped to take one or two from a pegasus in particular in case she would be able to do something grander with it. So far she didn’t have much luck with finding one -- or at least, one that was left alone. It didn’t seem like something any owner would be more than happy for her to take. The stables were her last stop before she would give up and just chase down a few birds for their feathers.

Before entering the stables, she took a quick peek around to make sure no one was in. Her ears flickered from side to side, staying alert for any sounds as she walked further in. All efforts to make sure that she was alone quickly disappeared once she saw what she was looking for -- a pegasus! It must’ve been the pegasus from that one retainer of Princess Elise. In that case she better make it quick before she ended up getting in trouble with royalty.

“Hey there, my feathered friend!” With a chuckle, she briskly walked over to the pegasus. As she patted on the mount’s head, she reached for the feathers. “I just... need to borrow one or two little feathers from you. I promise you won’t get hurt...”

🍻 (Bad Influence Macha)

     “A-Are you sure this is a good idea, Macha...?”

     Regardless of her misgivings, she accepts the offered drink, somewhat feeling as if it would be rude to refuse. Still, the scent wafting off of it makes her face scrunch up slightly and her red hues eye the alcohol with blatant suspicion.

     “I’ve never had anything like this before...”

Admittedly, there were some positives in joining the Nohrian army, even if this was a large part of what Amee had been trying to avoid. There were some friendly people around, some of whom were not quite as eager to fight even when there were a number of others who were. It was also nice to see Raza enjoying herself, fully acting as though she had no title... And it was also nice to see the retainers who served the royal family.

Actually more specifically, it was nice to see the eccentricity of said retainers. After spending so much time wondering about the people Raza employed, it was nice to see that even the royal family had some... strange characters who were tasked with protecting them.

Hopefully things wouldn’t go too bad while she and the others were here...

Raza had asked Amee specifically to see if she could talk to a few of the retainers. She hadn’t mentioned why just yet, but regardless, it wouldn’t do to disobey her liege’s orders...

The first that she came across to was Macha. She seemed approachable enough. “Ah-- Dame Macha, I presume?” Out of courtesy, Amee gave her a slight bow. “Good day, milady. I am Amee Durand, one of Lady Argyris’s servants. Forgive me if I am disturbing you, but would you by chance like some tea? I was hoping that we could become more acquainted with each other.”
