Hey LJ how's it going? I saw the convo about creating a safe (aka non-r*ylo dominated) tag for Rose Tico, and I was about to suggest #RebelRose...when I realized that that tag has *already* been hijacked. Also, the only Rose-centric blogs I've seen so far are run by R*ylos (sigh and facepalm.) Anyhow, I'm down for the effort to create a new tag for her. #HeroRose, maybe?

Argh and I was just thinking of #RebelRose too, hadn’t had time to check out the posts and to hear it’s been overtaken already… it boils me up, especially considering the callback to rebelfinn. On the other hand that’s exactly why I didn’t suggest it at first, because I want Rose to stand as her own character in the fandom and not be treated as an extension to Finn. Same reason I didn’t suggest #BigDealRose, though the tag is currently pristine.

I would have like #herose, but it seems someone who named a Korean idol band had the same sense of punnery as @rinsantago. (So if you’re tracking that tag you might start seeing a lot of nice-looking boys, a definite perk lol.) I like #herorose, and its slight awkwardness is actually a plus because there’s less likelihood of overlap. And I see you’ve already started populating the tag, nice! Edit: I also like #herosetico, since the tag is pristine and it has a slight ring of “heroes Tico,” implying it can include Paige as well even if it’s primarily a Rose tag.

So this is a signal boost for Rose fans who want to be free of rye loser nonsense, you’ll find like-minded fans at #HeroRose or #HeroRoseTico. Consider giving @the-bi-writer‘s Rose blog @herorose a follow, too, for your actually Rose-centered Rose content needs!
