your shoulders rise in a shrug at the apology, it’s hardly any trouble —- in fact, with how high some of these bookshelves go you’ve had to get shouji’s assistance on more than a few occasions. the split second of hesitance in her response is noted, && you give a nod at her explanation —- that makes the book far more interesting to you than what you initially thought from your fleeting glance, wondering about what her quirk is && how the reading could apply to that, && even then the cover has already caught your eye. it may be unsettling to most, but you aren’t particularly phased by this sort of thing ( it was more those amongst the living && breathing that frightened you ).

" the reading you did for your quirk was far less intriguing, full of scientific jargon about thermodynamics that left those books utterly dull && dry ( && you with your head spinning at times, your vocabulary only extended so far ).
