a knock at your door, jarring your focus from the screen thats near become a simple blur of roads && icons. you tear your attention away from your laptop, swallow a yawn as you amble upwards from your place curled on uncle lance's couch ( the man himself is upstairs in his own room, dead asleep ---- you can hear him snoring from here, you can't think of a single thing that would wake him ).

the door is opened, you find your friend. you're in no way surprised, && despite the deep circles under your eyes you offer her an amused, lopsided smirk ---- ushering her in with a wave of your hand, no questions asked.

at the moment im SUPER hyperfocused on m/sa so arthurs gonna be at the forefront for a while, but i’ll still definitely do stuff with my other muses but he’s gonna be the focus for a bit

hc . arthur / general story hcs that turned into a meta.

arthur is legally blind in his left eye, it wasn’t left unaffected from the possession incident. in the process of mystery removing the demon, && arthurs arm, his eye also got messed up because of the resistance of said demon. that part was internal && supernatural or w/e, so there’s no outward scarring. but mbois got absolutely NO depth perception && he hates it ---- especially because he can’t remember how he lost either his arm or vision.

on that note, in the videos it’s obvious he doesn’t recognize lewis’ ghost form, he only seems to recognize him at the very end of hellbent ---- when he says his name before being dropped. heavily going off the hc from a post i cant find at the moment ( so pls D0NT RB this akjnfjhgbdn ), what made everyone forget the event either in its entirety or partially made him forget not only the fact he got possessed and killed his friend ( hence why he was looking for lewis as though he were alive, && that little icon on his computer of lewis’ ghost form with a question mark i believe ), but how he lost his arm and eye given that was directly caused by the event he was forced to forget, while vivi was forced to forget lewis entirely, && lewis seems to have forgotten the fact arthur was possessed ( i recall one shot in particular hinting at lewis’ pov that he doesn’t remember arthurs appearance in that moment before his death in a way that would tip him off to the fact he was possessed, hence him thinking it was arthur who did it of his own volition ) until the ‘spell’ of sorts broke at the end of hellbent ---- && they all seem to remember in some capacity ( ? )

before he fully remembered the incident, arthur had more of a remnant gut feeling alongside knowing the fact his friend is missing && people don’t seem to remember him ---- he has to find lewis. he has to find his missing friend, who he has no idea is dead, no idea is the terrifying ghost that’s chasing them. part of him, subconsciously, blames himself for what happened, he feels a responsibility to find him partially due to this, but also because he loves lewis && wants to fix whatever the hell happened that made people forget him. he wants to find him && make sure he’s safe && get him back home to the people that love him. he wants vivi to remember the person that made her so happy.

when he remembers the incident, that he was possessed &&, in his mind, was too weak to keep the demon from pushing lewis, he’s absolutely crushed ---- what was going through his mind when he’s dropped ? that this is all his fault && he’s getting what he deserves
