Poppy, It's crazy to think that you have been gone for a whole year now. Thinking about it makes me sad inside, but I know you wouldn't want me to be sad. I know that you're not in pain any more, and you have aunt Rose Marie with you too. I miss you and I just want you to know that I love you and I will never forget you. You will always be one of the only two men in my life. I know that towards the end I was always so busy, and I know I never really got to say goodbye, because when I kissed your head while you were sleeping the last time I saw you I never thought that it would actually be the last time. I thought that the next saturday I would come back down, to see you at the house being strong, and fighting just like every other day. I thought you would see me graduate, and I wanted you to be proud of me. I miss you poppy, and I love you. I know we were never as close as we should have been, but I still can't watch the lion king without crying and I haven't watched a yankee game yet. If they're on the radio I refuse to listen. I know that you're watching them, and telling them everything that they're doing wrong. I got a letter to become a member in the mail, to go watch games I started to realize how much I really miss you. I'm in my second semester of college, I passed all my classes and I think that I'm doing pretty good. I think I'm going to change my major though.
