Rules: In a text post, list 10 books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard—they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you.
Tag 10 friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them!
The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
Paper Towns by John Green
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
And now for Dutch books because Dutch books are awesome:
7. Contrapunt by Anna Enquist
8. Spijt by Carry Slee
9. Achtste groepers huilen niet by Jacques Vriens (English title (of the film-adaptation) Cool kids don't cry)
10. Taal is zeg maar echt mijn ding by Paulien Cornelisse
So a very long time ago the superawesome http://timedodger.tumblr.com/ tagged me to do this thing. Then I forgot about it, but she recently reminded me so I decided to do it now:)
Rule 1- Always post the rules.
Rule 2- Answer the questions of the person who tagged you and then write 11 new ones.
Rule 3- Tag 11 friends and link them.
Rule 4- Let them know you tagged them.
1. What is your biggest achievement in life so far?
I can do a double pirouette:) (I really don't know what my biggest achievement is. As soon as I have posted this I'll probably realize I have done something very cool that I totally forgot about)
I usually prefer watching the film before reading the book, because when I first read the book the film often doesn't live up to how I imagined everything. Whereas when I watch the film before reading the book, the information I get from the book only makes me love the film more.
3. What is the one skill you would like to have the most.
I would like to be able to always understand people. This way I could help them and I would avoid doing or saying stupid things that would hurt them.:)
4. Would you be able to kill somebody?
I would probably physically be able to kill someone, but mentally I definitely wouldn't be able to handle it.
5. Do you think aliens exist?
Ehm, maybe, probably, I don't know?
6. If you had to choose between to never listen to your favourite music again and to never watch you favourite tv-show again, what would you choose?
NOOOOOOooooo~! I would never watch my favourite tv-show again. I just need my favourite music to live!
7. What is pasta made of (I’ve always wanted to know this but I’m too lazy to google)
Typically pasta is made from an unleavened dough of a durum wheat flour mixed with water, but it can be made with flour from other cereals or grains, and eggs may be used instead of water
8. What is your favourite scent?
The scent of the sea when you're standing at the beach about 50 meters (about 55 yards).
9. Is turquoise green or blue?
It's not green nor blue, it's a beautiful, independent colour and you should respect that! this is very important to me okay don't judge me!
10. Which of the following would you choose and tell me why:
- Travel with the Doctor
- Study at Hogwarts
- Live at 221B Baker Street
- Live in Narnia
- Be a captain on the Enterprise
- None of the above
Study at Hogwarts!!! That would be the coolest thing ever!
11. On a scale from maths to breathing, how important is Tumblr to you? (If maths is important to you, the scale is from π to 10.)
Pizza. (I really like it, but I don't eat it very often. I also really like tumblr, but I don't use it very often)
My questions for you:
- Are you happy with your life right now?
- What's your favourite kind of fruit?
- If you could be someone else for a week, who would you want to be?
- What are you most proud of?
- What is your favourite quote?
- What would you do if you were sent to the year 2473?
- How do you think the world will end?
- What is your favourite post on tumblr?
- What language would you like to learn?
- Would you like to know what people really think of you?
