The very maarte princess ghorl is back! 🤪 That’s how my boyfriend teases me and I comically live up to it.
I had back to back flights, from a family trip in Davao to switching sizes of luggage in Manila, squeezed in errands, layover and I am here again to spend time with de liefde van mijn leven.
It’s the beginning of summer season and so happy I already completed the four seasons of NL in every visit. TYL! Amazing ka talaga! ✨
Bailey is already 5 years old and she gets clingier to me everyday. If she could only talk, I think she will call me mama.
Worst Ex Ever Season 2 is out. My attention span with docuseries and true crime stories is unshakable. It’s either funny, cute dog videos in IG or YT shorts, Netflix documentaries or nothing.
Had my annual bloodchem check up and I’m happy with the outcome. Everything’s normal and far from borderline. Hitting 30’s is different and the best birthday present is to live and move healthy. Amen.
I miss my boxing sessions but seems I can’t squeeze everything in one day. So many things to do but so little time 🫠
Papa is home. Even i’m old enough to buy things for myself he never fails to give us presents. I don’t ask him anything. In fact, I can’t remember a time I ever asked my parents anything or expect that he will give us stuff but that’s just how he is. We are blessed having a generous and a good provider father. He isn’t perfect but he made sure we have things we need, sometimes even more than we need. I feel ashamed in a way because he still spends on us, his children but really, thank you always, Papa ❤️
Finally switched to Apple and my boyfriend always teases me as “Iphone ghooorl”. HAHA. Funny how I take photos in front of the mirror and would joke “hala ganito pala magselfie ang naka-iphone” Lels.
Slept in the wee hours of the morning for 3 consecutive days watching shows such as Ms. Gay singing and teen beauty contests in our village. I watched with neighbor friends and really had a great time.
Bought a couple of kitchen items for the house such as rotating spice rack, storage baskets and mineral water container rack. I just get the satisfaction in organizing things or I must say, ganito na talaga ang nasa trenta 😆
First time to experience summer season in NL and parang ayaw ko na? Chz. Hahaha. I’m a girl from tropics and used to heat but going out and and stroll around without an umbrella under the blazing sun.. the Asian in me cannot 🙈
Summer is worse in the PH but we don’t go out in peak sun hours while the Dutch loves the sunny outdoor life. Wherever the sun is, you’d find them. Capt always teases me that I am very maarte and he doesn’t care if I get darker. Sana all maputi lol.
He knows how much I like Polaroid photos but unfortunately, the camera got broken. He got us a photo printer this time where we can also tweak the images before printing. Now his fridge is full of our lovely photos which reminds us to buy more magnets ☺️
A very short holiday in Davao city to celebrate my aunt’s birthday and a side quest to see a few tourist attractions. It’s been a while since I had out of town trips and made special since me and my cousin flew with our grandma. She made it without motion sickness yayyy thanks to the anti hilo medicine haha.
Our trip highlights -
Sonnen Berg Mountain View - a refreshment place with breathtaking sea of clouds.
Philippine Eagle Center - saw Viggo in flesh, the eagle featured in our 1000 peso bill.
Malagos Garden Resort - a farm tourist site with dining and offers attractions such as Malagos Chocolote Museum, Butterfly Dome and Interactive Bird show. My first time to try Durian ice cream in our lunch buffet.
Roxas Avenue Night Market - tried Mindanao’s Chicken Pastil and local barbecues. Inihaw na tuna panga for the win!
Apo ni Lola Durian Delicacies - not a fan of the King of Fruits but the tarts and yema are so good. Maybe next time I try the Durian float.
And to my most favorite part, seeing the Philippine Eagle flying freely overhead. It was a beautiful and powerful moment. The locals said it’s not always you spot eagles fly in the mountains and we were blessed to witness one. More of a good omen for me ✨
I’d love to come back here again with more family members. There are plenty to see and try. You are next, Samal Island 🤗 The Davaoeños are friendly and the city is clean and organized.
We’re fortunate to come home to Manila a day before the quake. I pray for the Mindanao region’s protection, safety and healing 🙏
