My sister-in-law just called to thank me for killing the wasp that was following her son (he's hella allergic).

This in and if itself is not odd. It's the fact that I killed said wasp like a month and a half ago.

Apparently, she's been having nightmares about my nephew getting stung and not being able to get him to a hospital, which would probably mess with my head.

The best part of the conversation though, was when she asked me how it is that her husband, (my big bro) is so scared of wasps and I am only like moderately irritated by them, to which I got to hear my brother answer, "it's because she's heartless and evil, so she isn't afraid of other heartless and evil things" followed immediately by a loud thump and a "son of -- Logan Kyle what have we told you about hitting Daddy with a bat?!"

To which my favorite nephew semi-screamed "she's my most beautiful bestest aunt in the world and you can't be mean to her!"

And then my sis-in-law dissolving into giggles
