yeah it does. i mean, it’s stripping the color out of your hair. its part of the reason that i cut it, too. i mean, my hair didn’t feel dead but i just felt like i needed a fresh start, y’know? it only does a lot of damage if youre like fucking michael clifford and bleach your hair everyday like god man chill

ah same. also did you bleach yours before coloring it? because i would love to dye mine a lilac color but am feeling a bit conflicted about bleaching my hair
depends on the color. the one i have now and the pink i had before, i didn’t bleach. i dyed on top of them. however, with the silver and other purple i did, i bleached for that. i’ve done blue a lot so like half of those i bleached before, the other half i didn’t.
in order to get lilac, which i’ve had, you have to bleach. if you’re not certain about bleaching on your own, i would recommend getting someone who’s done hair before to do it for you or go to a professional. i’ve always done my bleaching at home though, so i can’t give any professional tips tbh
