“don’t worry, i’ve got you.”

“I’m not worried about myself,” Bonnie admitted softly. “I’m rather worried for you. I got you, Damon.” A small smile curled her lips. “I can take care of myself, I’m a powerful witch, but thank you for concern. I really appreciate it.”

The curly haired redhead put a delicate digit onto his shoulder. “We got each other, Damon. Always.”

“Oh, so you care about me? By attacking me, nearly killing me? If that’s your care, I don’t want any of it,” Bonnie burst out, enraged and disgusted. Did he think of her as a fool? She was no fool, and would not be treated as one. He had lied to her, deceived her, and she wouldn’t trust him ever again—not that she’d truly trusted him in the first place, but somehow least believed his words.

“You don’t care about anyone but yourself. Please, do me the favor, and stay away from me. I don’t want anything from you. Your apology has been heard, but I don’t forgive you.” She affirmed, brusque, and being not able to remain in his presence, she exited the scene at once, wordlessly.

Bonnie giggled, evidently humored by Damon’s abrupt confession; a bright smile crossed roseate tiers. Is he drunk? Or is she dreaming? Either way, she is delighted.

“Hear, hear. Are you sure about that? Don’t think you’ll be annoyed with my witchy juju for every day and after?” The short witch teased with a playful smirk, arching a brow in challenging fashion.
