How did you get introduced to the song "het is over"?

I was still in primairy school (somewhere in the 90’s) when “Heerlijk duurt het langst” aired on tv and I watched it with my parents, since I loved musicals from a young age and I already knew one of the songs “Op een mooie pinksterdag”. That’s were I heard the song for the first time but I was a little too young to understand the song fully.A couple of years ago I watched “Op zoek naar Evita” and one of the contestants sang the song and I loved it. Then about 2 years ago my theatre group did a concert with different songs from all kinds of musicals in Dutch, English and French. One of the songs they let us audition for was “Het is over”. I did an okay audition, but the girl that got the song eventually was an amazing singer, so I didn’t stand a chance against her.
