Been a while since I've done one of these because I've been caught up in things I needn't be. Usually this phrase is used to comfort people resisting #change, but recently I've become stressed at the perceived slow pace of making change happen myself. There's a few things that I'm all too eager to change! We all have them. But in narrowly focusing on them all I'd successfully managed to do was set my expectations too high (again) and get stressed (again). I've lately fallen back on the most basic #zen principle of accepting the way things are now, without focusing on the desire to change them. After all, now is all that's actually real, and change is inevitable anyway! I'm already putting plans in place and planting small seeds for the future, so I just need to remember to find some ever-elusive patience. Cheers #Hetaclitus! #buddhism #acceptance #zengarage #yesitsthezengaragenow
