Pantropical Huntsman aka Cane Spider aka Giant Crab Spider (Heteropoda venatoria), family Sparassidae, found in tropical areas around the world
The venom is not considered serious to humans, but the bite is painful.
The males make a vibrating buzzing noise with their abdomens while courting females.
The body is up to 2.8 cm (1.10 in) long, with a leg-spread of up to 10 cm (3.9 in).
They prey on a variety of invertebrates and small vertebrates (such as geckos and small bats).
