            THE  VALLEY  KISSED  BY  MOONSHINE  !  Nestled  in  its  whispering  hills  a  youthful  pair  .  Gossamer  wings  framed  dainty  form  in  recline  .  Blonde  ringlets  sprawled  out  upon  the  lush  grass  beneath  them  .  Fair  creature  ,  the  evening  settles  on  thee  like  a  lover  long  lost  !  Curious  hands  outstretch  before  her  ,  SINGING  with  enchantment  ,  beckoning  ivory  blossoms  to  her  fingertips  .  Soon  they  found  solace  in  the  blacked  waves  of  her  companion’s  hair  .  ❛  Night  is  breathing  close  to  us  ,  dark  ,  soft  .  ❜  Aloud  she  whispered  to  the  star  strewn  sky  .  ❛  Can  you  feel  it  ?  ❜  Mossy  eyes  reflected  the  pale  light  looming  above  .  There  was  magic  in  her  gaze  ,  a  wonderment  of  a  child  mirrored  in  ANCIENT  irises  .

EMPYREAN  SONG.   this  life  to  her  is  a  gift,  a  throne  she  has  claimed  for  herself,  and  she  cannot  fathom  his  reluctance.  lips  spread  wide  apart.  petaled  blossoms,  ready  to  bite  and  snag.   her  euphonious  tremble  and  sweet  doe  visage.   (   tell  me,  where  is  home?  )   a  foreign  concept  made  on  lies  and  bitter  appeals.  it  is  not  something  she  takes  part  in,  but  she  tests  out  the  idea  of  permanence  sometimes  as  a  cruel  joke.    ❝  beau,  you  fool.    can  you  not  see  what  is  right  in  front  of  you   ?    are  you  really  that  stubborn  and  set  in  your  own  despair   ?    ❞    and  does  she  bite!  a  smart  thing.  a  sharp  witted  fallacy.  she  can  coax,  she  can  dull  her  edges,  she  can  soften.   ❝   right  here,  when  you  need  to.   ❞

                                                            nonverbal starters  // not accepting *!

          an unfortunate way to command alec’s attention. his body twitches under beau’s touch, spinning to face him within the blink of an eye. he wears a guarded mask, brow furrowed in distaste for his touch. it takes a breathless, silent moment for alec to relax in the wake of his overblown reaction, shaking the tension from his shoulders. he looks up into the other boy’s eyes with a calmness that blooms from a very rare understanding. alec knows all too well how it feels to be cut down in one’s youth, to be robbed of a future and outfitted with another without consent. he too was changed before he could consider saying no.

            ‘ you did well to come to us. I will certainly be able to help you avoid him. as long as you remain with me, even if he returns, he will never reach you. and what he did is not exactly commonplace in our world. in fact, it is quite frowned upon, reckless indeed. if you would like it to be looked into that could easily be arranged. ’  of course beau would have no way of knowing, for he had only been within the fortress of volterra for a matter of hours, just long enough to tell his story and seek sanctuary, but the sliver of compassion in alec’s indifferent tone was unbelievably rare.

            LAUGHTER LIKE BELLS ECHOS IN THE STILLNESS OF THE NIGHT,   the creatures sit       /        hiding underneath the cloak of darkness far above the fog which spreads from the grass underneath their dangling feet.  This land is cursed;  just like  THEM   it breaths the old rather than the new.  The birds passing above them travelling south,  a weak attempt to get away from the winter knocking at the door of the lowlands. 

She  LIKES  it here.  The harsh tones in which the locals speak      /      their grumbling voices drifting above the winds that push them into a certain direction  BEFORE SPINNING THEM ROUND AND ROUND.  There is no escape from it;  and the locals have mastered the art of living in uncertainty rather well. 

             ❝   Be careful that you won’t fall,  ❞  laughter is just the echo of the church bells of the holy building miles away;  low do they rumble across the silent fields.  They could dance to the song of  GRAIN  being  CRUSHED  by stones and human ingenuity.  They could sway to the creaking wood,  almost as old and durable as the two of them.     ❝   I don’t want you to lose an arm.   ❞

With her lips firmly pressed together and only her head and shoulders peeking above the water, she looked like a maiden near drowning. Skin pale as snow, eyes dark as night, one could easily mistake the sight of her for a mere damsel in distress. She wondered if the man perched upon the rocks would think any different. 

Would know better. Would recognize a predator.

Of course the merwoman had noticed the smell of blood on his skin. It was why she’d neared in the first place. The scent was irresistible to a creature of her nature, after all.

“Dangerous... waters to... Wash...” The human tongue was difficult, but somehow she managed to form the words and allow them to carry across the waves, loud enough, she assumed, for him to hear.

               golden  hues  scan  the  other  vampire  that  stood  directly  in  the  cullen’s  driveway  through  the  foyer’s  window  .  an  uneasy  feeling  set  in  her  stomach  by  the  unfamiliar  vampire  &&  unaware  of  his  reasoning  for  being  in  forks  .  possibly  an  old  friend  of  carlisle  ?  maybe  edward  or  esme  knew  him  too  ,  but  they  weren’t  home  .  they  were  hunting  ,  alice  &&  jasper  joining  them  while  she  &&  emmett  stayed  behind  .  with  a  gentle   push  of  the  main  door  ,  rosalie  stood  now  outside  with  the  unknown  vampire  .   ❝   if  you  are  looking  for  carlisle  ,  ❞  she  begins  ,  stopping  at  the  very  top  of  the  steps  to  watch  him  approach  the  stairs  ,   ❝   he  isn’t  here  at  the  moment  .  ❞
