i haven't seen anything like this around and i thought it would be fun, so i'm creating a tag game for it!
Rules: Use this (https://www.random.org/colors/hex) to generate a color. Then write a short snippet based on what that color inspires in you.
for example, if i got a shade of red, i could write about flowers, or blood. i could also write about passion, or anger. literally anything that comes to mind as a result of seeing that color is fair game!
you are totally allowed to write with preexisting characters; hell, you can write the next scene of your wip if you want, as long as it fits the rules.
so, without further ado: my hex code was #2ade8a.
When Aeryn comes into the room, he's carrying a tray of bright green drinks covered in whipped cream. They look minty; when Aeryn gets closer, they smell minty, and Taylor can't help but smile when Push stares at them suspiciously.
"I'll try anything once," Push insists, but his eyes haven't left the mint milkshakes, and Aeryn laughs heartily as he unloads the drinks onto the center of the table.
"I know," Aeryn says playfully. "That's why you're my favorite taste-tester. Nora said this was too bright to be healthy."
"Kale smoothies are bright green," Taylor offers.
"They're more dark green," Push corrects him, tilting his head to the side a little as he considers. "Definitely a dark green. Do you like kale smoothies?"
Taylor raises his eyebrows. "I- I don't know," he says honestly. "I've never tried one."
"Huh," Push replies, his eyes sliding over Taylor appraisingly. Distantly, Taylor remembers to consider this a good thing. "I'll bring you one at the next meeting, okay?"
"Okay," Taylor says back, but the sound is a bit strangled. Suddenly, he's really looking forward to the next club meeting.
