Rewatching ‘Grimm’ because reasons, and like, I still cringe at how Juliette becoming a hexenbiest was plotted.
What if, when she revealed herself to Nick, instead of turning away from her, he kissed her, eyes wide open. If he reassured her that no matter what she was, he would be with her. That she’d changed in the process of saving him, and that he only cherished her the more for her sacrifice?
That she was no more of a monster than he was, and he couldn’t love her more or less for it?
... this would, of course, segueway to Adalind and Juliette reconciling with a great deal of violence, forming a kind of coven, and agreeing to share Nick and Sean. The boys are mildly terrified to learn the ladies have formed an alliance, but end up becoming the best protected (and best behaved) officers in the country under the watch of powerful witches. Hexenbiest and Grimm genetics work out so that the Burkhardt kids are one or the other, with a little extra oomph from some kind of synergistic effects of their genetics. And everyone lives happily ever after :D
