Winter Solstice Wishes ✨🌛🌌
Witchy vibes
Modern witchcraft is becoming popular. Look for #witchesofinstagram, #wicca or #witchcraft on Instagram and you will see. I myself like to call myself a witch as long as a refer to my own definition of what it actually means. I think there is no strict stereotype in that you have to fit in. It's like being vegan. We all are plantbased. However, there are vegans who live on vegan junk food, those who live high-carb, there are keto vegans and those who are passionate about animal rights activism. You can be a zero-waste living vegan and be high-carb. You can only live high-carb. You can be a high-carb junk food vegan. There is no clear stereotype but there are similar moral standards. As a witch I do not need to belong to a coven, to pray to certain ancient gods or to do highly ceremonial rituals. I live out my spiritual path by living a conscious life. To me the most powerful way is by recognizing that every new day is a gift, that everything on earth, including me, is divine, that life as we know it is an embodiment of the Divine. Only those who do not understand what I mean would summarize what I just wrote as ' being aware'. It's much more difficult than this. I sometimes find it very hard to keep spiritual in my day-to day life. We are souls but we also have a material body with limitations and needs. The mixture of soul and body, two types of energy, in my opinion, is this challenging and highly interesting characteristic of this life. Day by day we have to learn to accept this divine embodiment and we have to find balance for both, soul and body. If we do so we learn, we grow and we love.
