“Stiles … so you’re my blind date huh?” Evidently Lydia Martin had a sense of humor and it came in the form of this match. She was still very much the new girl in school and that was rough on the witch, even more so since she was transferred in during her senior year.

But Stiles was unexpected, they hadn’t ever really spoken outside of class apart from that one time they had to be lab partners for a chemistry assignment, she wasn’t entirely sure that the boy knew she existed.

chalcopyrite: how my muse deals with ending relationships.

Ava’s kind of cold when it comes to this. She doesn’t usually have a problem with ending things, mostly because she doesn’t like letting people in to that particular point in the first place. If she does end things with someone, platonic or otherwise, she’ll just cut the cord--do whatever it takes for the person to despise her so that it’s easier on all counts to break their ties. This is usually done through rude behavior or just cutting off contact altogether. Or, she’ll be blunt and tell them that their relationship is over. If the other person begs and pleads for answers, she’ll use their vulnerability to cut them down verbally.

If she knows them well enough and sees their reaction coming--or knows that with enough time and persuasion, she’ll change her mind and continue the relationship--she’ll pack her things and leave in the middle of the night. Again, all contact will be ignored.

Occasionally, she might leave a letter for the person if they’re close enough, but other than that, it’ll be as if she was never there.

Which, in her mind, is probably a good thing.

It isn’t as if she’s worth anything--well, in her eyes, anyway.

They’re probably better off without her.

ammolite: how lucky or unlucky my use is

Eva is very, very unlucky. In the last 5 or so years she’s been

in a house fire that left her with 60% of burns covering her entire body

Loosing her mother in that house fire

Enduring a good year or so of treatments to help with those burns

Watching her father get killed by her ‘cousin’ just a few years later

Getting attacked by Damon, which of course resulted in her getting killed/turning into a human-vampire hybrid

Being experimented on by the augustine (due to her hybrid status) and mutilated to the point of her death

Spending several months trapped on the otherside

Overall, it’s just one crap fest after the other. Three of these events have left Eva extremely traumatized and unable to have proper relations with other people because of how paranoid and fucked up those events made her. She also suffers with ptsd because of some of these events which leads to Eva having panic attacks and nightmares where she’ll wake up screaming.

emerald: how my muse tells someone they love them without words

Eva finds showing someone how she loves them much easier than actually speaking because she doesn’t need to rely on her words and make a massive fool of herself. By showing instead of speaking, it helps take the edge off Eva and makes it easier for her to be emotionally open towards others. This usually just includes Eva showing how much she truly cares for that person by being there for them, helping them, listening to them, just anything that involves that person knowing how much Eva cares and loves for them.

sapphire: if everyone my muse knew was hanging off a cliff and they could only choose three to save, the rest certainly dying, who they would choose

I don’t think Eva would be able to do this, tbh. There are so many people that she loves and would give up her life to saves theirs that to choose only three would be almost impossible for her. I just really don’t think Eva would be able to choose just three. That’s not who she is at all. Though if it had some people that Eva really despised then it wouldn’t take much of an effort for her to decide that she’s gonna send them over the cliff XD

Golden Secrets - CLOSED {hexinghanson}

Lurking underneath the shadows of the castle, the dragon lied in secret, covered in its precious metals and jewels. Just another secret buried underneath some pretty lies to hide the cruelty in the sights of blind men.

For over a hundred years, this dragon has been cursed and locked away inside a keep deep underground the castle where his captors could keep a close eye on him. Generation after generation, idiot King after idiot King, the dragon was used as insurance, as a pet, for the ruling family.

It is a reminder, the fathers lectured to their sons, to never abandon your family. Always keep your family first.

How melodramatic. Every coronation, every generation, every bloody son and father lecture, the same damn thing and all the dragon wanted was to tear his teeth into their throats and watch their royal blood flow onto their pretty riches.

The beast ducked his head out from his nest of coins to stretch out his body. As he opened his mouth, walls and pillars around him began to shiver and quake.

“Soon,” his voice boomed off the stone walls,”soon, this decrepit keep will be nothing but dust and rubble in my wake.”

And that’s when he heard it, the sound of feet scuffing against the floor. Another royal has come down to gawk and run his mouth over family values or perhaps some desperate fool has come to look at a real dragon.

How predictable.

“I know you’re out there! Why not come out? No need for hiding.”
