My hexi quilt is done!

English paper piecing was quite the journey. The fabrics are 99% paisley. You can see some Tula in there, plus a couple of other random fabrics. The backing is a QT Fabrics purple paisley I’ve kept tucked away for just such an occasion.

It’s about the size of a queen coverlet.

A friend suggested I do straight lines and make (what is akin to) a bicycle spoke. I kinda like it. And yes, I machine quilted it. But all the piecing is by hand of course. I think there are just over 900 hexis in there.
