Hey, just wanted to say that I absolutely loved Haunt The Glass! The fic has such a creative and interesting storyline. I’m going to check out some of your other works too but I was wondering if you’ll continue the fic some time in the future? (Completely fine if you no longer wish to just curious), hope this doesn’t come across as rude!
Anon, this is not rude at all, this is actually such a sweet and considerate way to ask this. Considering a lot of authors are dealing with comments that can be demanding, it feels important to recognise when people are kind and caring about someones work. That being said, I should answer your question. Haunt the Glass is not abandoned, I intend to finish that fic, it's probably the most important thing I've written. I've spent the last few months working on a Big Bang Project, which took up a lot of time and then...kinda had a bit of a mental health issue that's really been kicking my arse the last few months.
I'm so happy that you loved it, and I hope you love the rest of Haunt when I manage to get back into a writing headspace. Hopefully the other works can be something enjoyable for you as well. There is one other thing I want to say, to you anon, and also to a few commenters on AO3 who have had a similar sentiment. It means more than I can put into words, that something I wrote means enough that you wanted to tell me about it, and to see if there will be more of it. It's genuinely things like this that make me want to keep writing. So thank you anon, both for your sweet kind words, but also for reminding me that something I made exists in someone elses thoughts.
