He finds this to be the most at peace he can ever be. Here, within the walls of their chambers, bare of all titles, of all obligations. For all of his monikers, he only wishes to hear his name out of his most beloved’s lips. It soothes his soul, calms his beating heart and brings him joy.
And all of this joy has doubled with the news that she carries their child within her growing stomach. Their child. Theirs. The union of their love materializing in a child. His heart has never known such levity.
When he finds his wife, beautifully settled upon a chair, he takes no detour to join her. He sits at her feet and places his head by her belly. Odinn remains silent for a while, taking in the calm atmosphere that surrounds them right then and there. There is nothing he would not sacrifice for this -- for them. His other eye, his position, his knowledge. All is meaningless without them.
“I deeply wish our child takes only after you”, he says, allowing that same levity within to escape in a joke -- a rare statement coming from him -- although he would not mind it in the least. There is nothing quite as mesmerizing as his wife.
I’m really into posting audio posts today. I sang a thing! Enjoy the thing.

Wednesday, Just After the Missing Year, Evening
Daniel had slipped into Granny’s for a quick cup of coffee. It was a difficult day and he needed a few minutes to himself to clear his mind. Yet seated at the counter was a man he hadn’t seen before.
“I thought I knew faces of all of the people around town. Yours is new.” He smiled kindly, extending a hand. “I’m Daniel, most people call me Danny. You new to Storybrooke?”
