hey!! so I just started dating this dude recently and im not really comfortable using names like 'babe' and whatever yet, so i just use stupid names like 'dweeb' or just a usual 'man'. he keeps on telling me not to use those and to use 'babe' instead and id really prefer to just keep it to the stupid little names?? idk. got any advice??

listen if you don’t actually wanna call him babe, it’s not gonna sound natural when you try to anyway. maybe you’ll be more comfortable in time, but for now don’t do it if you don’t want to. however, if he dislikes stuff like ‘dweeb’ maybe try to think up another name, it might just be that he doesn’t like the teasing nature of it. 

i can’t think of any specific names but maybe people could reply to this with suggestions?

Well, in Sweden you don't wear uniforms (if you don't go in the english school in Stockholm or in a private school). But the thing is I'm too shy to do that. People in my school or everywhere would probably look at me like 'wtf bitch?'. That's what I hate about Swedish people. Everything needs to be perfect and you can't stick out because that's weird. And I hate it because that dress is so cute and everything ugh Maybe I can just buy if my family is going out for dinner or been invited out? (can you say so?)
