Hey! It has been a minute since I last posted, but here is a little bit of what has been keeping me so busy.
Final Exams! (I got my scores back, and all is well.)
Moving back home! (After a great first semester, I moved out of the dorms)
Planning! (Arranging my schedule and extracurriculars for next semester has been tricky)
That being said, happy holidays!! I cannot wait to spend this year back at home without the hassle if traveling like I normally do. The image is my new record player that I got as an early Christmas present.
Currently listening to Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel
Dream
Maybe,
Just maybe...
He came when I was asleep...
He called when it was too loud;
He smiled when I didn't see
But maybe
It was just a dream
He will never see me
He'll see me only as a geek
Who can actually be a drama queen
But what if?
What if I've been lying to myself
That actually , all the guesses are right
What if he really did care
What if he wanted to see me
Then again
What if he thinks I'm a freak?
That I'm just a color in the locker
Just a girl he thought was invisible
Just plain,
and lonely,
and... scared
But... I CAN dream
That he will listen
That he will soon come around
That perhaps , life can be as cliche as it sounds
But a dream can turn to a nightmare
And sometimes, I play truth or dare
That sometimes, I wish he'll tell the truth
But the truth might hurt me
And I'll see nothing
But an empty, broken, me...
All I can do is hope
Hope he is right
Hope he would fight
Hope that I won't give up
Hope that I can see
But either way
Reality must strike
Imagination will end
Dreams will a awake
Sometimes, it might be right
Sometimes, you have to put it all down
And cry to the beat of your heart...
