‘   y’know  i  wasn’t  sure  about  you  at  first.   ’      spoken  in  a  moment  of  silence,  something  no  longer  rare  these  days.  ever  since  beth  found  her  family  again  it’s  felt  like  she’s  only  ever  shown  up  in  time  for  awkward  moments  and  silence;  though  maybe  it’s  her  that  makes  those  moments  become  awkward.  no  one’s  really  known  how  to  act  around  her  since  they  got  her  back.      ‘   didn’t  know  if  you  were  right  for  maggie..  ‘specially  with  the  stuff  at  the  farm.   ’     that  feels  like  so  long  ago  now,  a  distant  foggy  memory.  most  things  from  back  then  are  foggy,  a  side  effect  of  barely  surviving  a  gunshot.     ‘   i  get  why  you  did  that  now..  think  he..  uhm..  shane?   ’     she’s  not  sure  the  names  right,  but  it  sounds  right  enough.     ‘   he  might’ve  had  the  right  idea.   ’     she  looks  over  at  him  with  a  small  smile.     ‘   i  think  you  more  than  proved  yourself,  though.   ’

    ‘ would  it  be  weird  to  say  that  i’m  almost  kinda  glad  the  entire  world  went  to  shit? ’       but of course she already knows the answer.    people generally don’t get happy about that unless something’s seriously strange going on up in their head.     ‘ i mean,    don’t get me wrong,    everything going on is horrible   &   i hate it,    but it kinda saved me from something worse. ’      she still remembers the day that a walker saved her life.    definitely not something that most people can say happened.    she’s just thankful that she hadn’t been trapped or tied down when it happened,    or maybe she wouldn’t have been so lucky.

“Shit was so much easier when we were just delivering pizzas.” She says it quietly as the two of them walk. She’s just trying to lighten the mood, though she’s not sure how well it’s working. People had taken Maggie, & she knew that he was freaking out. She may not know Maggie that well, but she knew Glenn & she knew that he loved her, & that made Taylor worry a lot. “You’ve grown up so much.” & maybe that’s to be expected in the apocalypse, but she still remembers the young & innocent Glenn that laughed a lot and was almost always smiling. It seemed like so long ago. “You know, we’re gonna find her.”

“whats it like out there? outside of the walls i mean.” it’s a question she’s been wanting to ask ever since the new people first got to alexandria, her knowledge of the outside world being practically nothing. “i haven’t been out there since all this started.”
