Fright Fest had been, well, Fright Fest. It felt like most community events in town. Crowds of people, overpriced things, this time there was just the added element of costumes and about 30% more screaming that could be heard from the haunted houses. There was crying and spilt beer and his edibles kicked in right as he’d gone through a haunted house so his asshole had been plenty clenched tonight. Overall a good evening. Nothing to write home about but he hadn’t regretted going out. Still it felt like something had been missing from his night.
Evan would be lying if he said he hadn’t kept his eye out for Judah. He figured if the other was going to be anywhere tonight it would be at the Fright Fest. It felt like everyone in town was here tonight and if Evan could recall the other didn’t have any definitive plans for All Hallow’s Eve that weren’t Fright Fest so Evan could only assume. Though he had assumed the other was going to give him his number after they hooked up so maybe Evan was just making an ass out of himself again. He came across a few men dressed up as Adam of Adam & Eve (or Steve) fame and not a single girl dressed up as Poison Ivy, it seemed that Harley Quinn was still the popular female DC villain this year. He’d chalked it up as a bust and was going to grab one last beer before heading home when he spotted what he could only assume was Judah. The curls were orange and he was clad in plastic ivy and green skin. Certainly not another Adam.
Evan walked to Judah’s spot in the line catching a couple of sour looks from some sexy Crayola Crayons and a Bob Ross in the process. Despite the costume Judah was easily recognizable and it brought a smile to Evan’s face. “Well if it isn’t Poison Ivan,” Evan declared as he pulled his mask up so he could get a better look at him. Truthfully he was more exposed now than he had been when they hooked up so of course he was gonna look. “You really outdid yourself. I’m impressed,” he complimented.
