He wasn’t picky. He wasn’t.
Sure, maybe he should start thinking about himself. But he doesn’t want to. In theory, it should make decision-making a lot easier. The decision falls on the other person. A quick ‘no, you choose’ or ‘I don’t mind’ takes care of his wants because he’s not picky. Sometimes he has to resort to his memory of what the person wanted and pass it off as his own idea, and it works to keep people happy. As long as the rest are happy, he doesn’t matter.
But sometimes immovable force meets unstoppable object.
