I got tagged about a month ago by lenuadoresit and then I completely forgot about it until today! I have never been tagged by someone I actually haven't met in real life so this is pretty exciting! These facts are going to be ridiculously random but I do hope you find them somewhat interesting!

1. I really started liking languages and linguistics ever since I took an Anthropological linguistics class last year which was around the time when I started reading feminist rhetoric on tumblr and those topics went really well together in terms of creating a paradigm shift. I have romanticized the Sapir-Whorf hypothesis in my head and I like the idea that your language influences your worldview.

2. On a related note, I am learning French! I originally wanted to learn Korean because I listen to Kpop and wanted to learn the language so I could appreciate the music more. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a lot of resources for Korean and learning a language on your own is difficult anyway, so I decided I would learn French first (because I also listen to French music) so I could develop a system of learning languages on my own.

3. I fancy myself a writer, but I honestly haven't been writing much. Planning and researching out a novel is really hard.

4. I like making jewelry and I have a blog where I post diys and inspiration posts and also have a tumblr for the blog (yes, shameless self-promotion). I am also planning on opening an etsy!

5. Tigers are my favorite animals!

6.  I also really like Persian cats!

  I pondered these questions all day and I still don't have satisfactory answers for all of them.

1. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?

Eek! Hard question. I don't know. New York? San Francisco? Hawai'i? Costa Rica? I can't decide.

2. Sweet or salty?

 Salty, obviously.

3. What is your favorite food?

You want me to choose? Are you crazy? Red curry, samosas, chips, fries....carbs

4. What is the first thing you’d buy if money didn’t matter?

This question confuses me. As in I have a lot of money? Or if I could only choose one thing? Or if money had no value? Am I overthinking this? Uh, I don't know. A big house? A really nice car?

5. What is your favorite book?

Again. I have to choose? I still have a soft spot for The Book Thief and the Harry Potter series. I liked Cloud Atlas. And I am still trying to decide if I liked Kafka on the Shore.

6. Who would you invite to dinner? 3 people: 1 alive, 1 dead, and 1 a character from a tv show/movie/book/etc.

Omg. This is so hard. I admire so many people.

JK Rowling, Salvador Dalĺ , Captain Jack Sparrow...that would be one strange dinner.

7. If you plan on going to college, what do you want to study? If you’re in college, do you like you major? If you’re not going, what are you doing instead?

I like my majors. I just wish some of my anthropology classes weren't so basic and I had the time to take some film or art classes.

8. Have you been outside your home country? Where?

Yes, India, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico, Bahamas, and the UK

9. Is your bedroom clean?

Yes

10. What is your favorite article of clothing?

I like jackets. A lot. But I never get to wear them.
