His cheeks flushed red from embarrassment as he realized the situation the two were in. Tripping wasn’t something he meant to do, he especially didn’t mean to trip into Cyklops, but here they were, with him pinning the taller against the wall. “Oh shit- I- Uh-” As he fell over his words, falling just seemed to be his theme of the night. Actually, this has been explored a couple of times! His healing factor was taken from him in The Wolverine (2013) via implant, so while Logan’s own pure stubbornness and endurance kept him going, he was practically annihilated by the end of the film. In Logan (2017), while his mutation was never exactly taken from him, it’s proved that he’s not infallible. His healing factor has a timer set on it, and the adamantium poisoning him took a grossly large effect on him, quite rapidly.

In the comics, his latest death was caused by moreorless the same. After losing his healing factor through a virus, the comics went into thorough detail how Fucked Up Logan was going to be. He did receive assistance with combating his adamantium, but that did little to help with the fact that Logan is a walking talking Germ machine, what with his claws basically taking in every gross thing you can think of after fighting with them. That’s six avenues straight into his bloodstream/muscles. Also, during the comics, lots of people made it their mission to be the One to defeat Wolverine once and for all when it got out there that Logan had lost his main mutation.

So, we have a few variables. If Logan still has his adamantium and doesn’t have a cure for that, he’s going to die quickly and painfully. If Logan still has his claws, he’s going to die quickly and painfully. If he’s still got all his enemies, he might have a chance, but he’ll run out of chances quickly and painfully.
