How do you feel about the new SJM? Do you like it? Do you follow the news, comebacks...? Just curious. I know you are from old SJM school ;)
I get updates from time to time through other people (e.g. my dashboard, twitterfeed, etc.), but I don't actively follow their news, watch all their shows or keep up with their comebacks. It's kind of the same with SJ actually...
Since the beginning, I mostly just followed or watched everything with Geng in it, and so it was through watching him that I saw more stuff about the others. Unfortunately, that also means that I don't have very comprehensive knowledge of everything the rest of the members (except Siwon to some degree) have been up to post-2009. Pretty much all the updates I get about SJ and SJM nowadays are through updates about Siwon.
As for how I feel about new SJM....it's bittersweet. It's too painful for me to watch them because I start to miss the old dynamic when Geng was around...like how Siwon was his right-hand man and how they both basically carried the show by being jokesters. I miss watching Geng being the mother hen and watching the interactions between him and the other SJM members. With the addition of Hyuk and Sungmin, it didn't feel very much like SJM to me anymore; it felt like it was SJ doing activities in China.
I know for a lot of people they actually have the opposite problem--they can watch new SJM stuff but not old SJM stuff because it's too painful. I think things are just funky with me because I got into this fandom post-lawsuit. So....I was starting to like old-school SJ-M and becoming emotionally invested while also simultaneously feeling heartbroken because I knew that they had already lost their leader and that the comradery I was watching was already a thing of the past. I was a psychological/emotional mess because I would laugh and cry at the same time while watching their stuff （ ；´Д｀）.
I still wish new SJM every success primarily because it is Zhou Mi and Henry's main home/family/base for their careers, but I'm not actively keeping up with updates. For one thing, it's already way to time-consuming to just keep up with Geng, but the other thing is that my feelings are just too messed up....
