When one's electrified essence meets a halo of flowers, the visual reverberation is exquisite. “Aura is what one reflects in the heart, what you bring into the world, and what people want to learn from you.” ― Ozuna 🎨: "Cacique" by Hezron Henry (@hezron_1) 👉Artist's Website: https://ift.tt/3fI6IJ8 ••• posted on Instagram - https://instagr.am/p/CPpsJUjrJNF/
The way that each of us experiences artwork is radically different, with myriad factors coloring our perspective. If you’re hoping to get a little insight into the backstory that motivated @hezron_1 to create this digital and acrylic piece, nope…nah-ahhh...no sirrreee Bob! Rather than look for a nudge in the “correct” direction, the Turks And Caicos Islands-based artist hopes that the beholder will revel in the emotions that his paintings trigger and use that as the basis to draw their own conclusions. So…what is his vibrant silhouetted profile - entitled “Of The Ancestors”- saying to *you*? Through his boldly pigmented digital and acrylic portraits, @hezron_1 explores individual and community identity that is unique to his own personal lens. While race and culture inform the Turks And Caicos Islands-based artist’s imagery, he also explains that his dynamic palette – while seemingly “chaotic and disorienting” – conveys a precise “visual language” that can be perceived “through a macro view”. “Sovereign”, pictured here, is part of Hezron Henry’s “Crown” Series from 2019.
