but what I'm still so emotional over is the fact that the old robert would've been all for making a grand wedding with the most expensive items present but now he literally wants to get married at their local pub with a bunch of tacky but pretty as heck decorations. he just wants to marry the love of his life even if it means getting married by surprise and at the woolpack. if that isn't character development then I don't even know WHAT IS

Did they do it right? They don't think they did the right thing. And why is the giant so afraid of them??? Sure he was the smallest giant, but still! They were so confused... maybe a gift would help? Roo watched the bug, confused, as it gestured and bounced and eventually ran off. He... didn’t really know what it meant. Was that them trying to talk...?

In any case, he didn’t want to move from his spot. He’d just. Curl up into a ball. Drape his cloak overtop of him. Yeah. Hopefully a little catnap would ease his bug-based jitters...
