50/30 is amazing for many reasons, but since I just re-read the entire thing, this is my stand-out on the second pass: you write with a tone that conveys emotion. I feel The dichotomy of H’s fierce independence and at times crippling insecurity through his conversations, self-talk, and experiences. Same with L love and support. It’s not even from his POV, but it still shows up in the mannerisms and words that H conveys. This fic, along with a bunch you’ve written, is equally enjoyable on (P1)
this is like when i get a really nice ao3 comment and all i can say is THANKS OMG because idk how to respond! i’m so glad that you think i convey emotion well because i feel like i struggle with it the most. but to hear that the various versions of them come across differently is such a huge compliment. i try really hard to make each character unique and to not write the same h and l in every fic. ALSO just the fact that you’ve re-read any of my fics is MINDBLOWING but to have read 50/30 more than once already makes my heart like GROW. thank you. this really made my day. and now i have therapy in like 15 min so i’m going to try to not cry about this before that lol THANK YOU AGAIN!
