Character Questionnaire
1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?
Lilly and her father had a very average relationship. She hates how set-in-his-ways he can be, but she also realizes that it can be an endearing quality if viewed the right way. She loves that he can see the good in everyone, and tries to make the best of every situation. Lilly's father played a big part in her character today, because he was a very good role model for how to treat others and how to behave well in all situations.
2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?
Lilly's mother died when she was very young, and she doesn't remember a lot about her. She remembers some things, like the scent of Chanel Number 5 and the way that she would brush her hair 100 strokes every morning, to make it shine. However, Lilly's step-mother, Suzanne, was a big influence on her childhood. Lilly hated that Suzanne was seemingly a two-faced person, always nice to everyone even if she didn't like them. But as she grew up she realized that rather than being two-faced or deceitful, it was really just pleasant manners. Lilly loved that Suzanne always radiated a confident and happy outlook on life, and frequently repeated the mantra that "Although life may not be all sunshine and smiles, that doesn't mean you can't look at it that way." Suzanne influenced Lilly's life by teaching her to remain positive.
3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?
Lilly has four older siblings, two younger siblings, and five more half-siblings that are much younger. Lilly was surrounded by affection throughout her childhood. Her family was always very supportive and kind.
