Headcanon: Sunflowers
When I was little, I had an obsession with sunflowers, and my father used to take me to sunflower plantations for my birthday. He never got me presents, because my mother thinks birthdays are ridiculous. Instead of singing happy birthday, my father would sneak into my room very early and sing You Are My Sunshine to me, to wake me up. Once I was awake, I got pancakes shaped like sunflowers and then we went to the plantations. I think sunflowers stuck with me all my life, and when I graduated my father had a custom ring made for me. It’s thin and silver, shaped like a sunflower, with the leaves wrapped around my finger. I rarely wear it, but since my father died I’ve been too scared to touch it. If I lose it, I feel like it will sever the last connection I have to my father. I often pretend my name is ridiculous and that my father was just using a misnomer, but in all honesty, I think he named me after sunflowers, because he said that, even though it was the middle of winter when I was born, he saw a sunflower blooming in the snow. He said I brought sunlight back into his life; that I was his little summer sunshine. That’s why he sang to me on my birthday’s too. The problem is that now, I’ll hear on my birthday “please don’t take my sunshine away” and my sunshine is already gone. All that’s left is a sunflower, but a sunflower is meant to follow sunshine, and how can sunflowers do that without sunshine? I feel lost now because nobody knows me like my father did, and sunflowers remind me of that.
Sunflowers, to me, now symbolize a brightness that my life is lacking, and I try to see them as positive. I haven’t seen one in weeks, and I’m starting to lose hope that I ever will again. I think that maybe, if I do see a sunflower, it will be like my father is speaking to me, telling me everything will be alright and that the sun hasn’t gone out, because even in the middle of winter, a sunflower will grow somewhere.
Character Questionnaire
1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?
Lilly and her father had a very average relationship. She hates how set-in-his-ways he can be, but she also realizes that it can be an endearing quality if viewed the right way. She loves that he can see the good in everyone, and tries to make the best of every situation. Lilly's father played a big part in her character today, because he was a very good role model for how to treat others and how to behave well in all situations.
2. Their mother? How do they think of her? What do they hate? Love? What influence - literal or imagined - did the mother have?
Lilly's mother died when she was very young, and she doesn't remember a lot about her. She remembers some things, like the scent of Chanel Number 5 and the way that she would brush her hair 100 strokes every morning, to make it shine. However, Lilly's step-mother, Suzanne, was a big influence on her childhood. Lilly hated that Suzanne was seemingly a two-faced person, always nice to everyone even if she didn't like them. But as she grew up she realized that rather than being two-faced or deceitful, it was really just pleasant manners. Lilly loved that Suzanne always radiated a confident and happy outlook on life, and frequently repeated the mantra that "Although life may not be all sunshine and smiles, that doesn't mean you can't look at it that way." Suzanne influenced Lilly's life by teaching her to remain positive.
3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?
Lilly has four older siblings, two younger siblings, and five more half-siblings that are much younger. She has very little contact with most of them, as a lot of them wrote her off after she was admitted to a mental facility for treatment in her early twenties. However Lilly always manages to keep in contact with her young nieces and nephews, as well as her younger siblings who make an effort to talk to her.
4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?
Lilly's parents never really had to be very strict disciplinarians, because Lilly never really acted up as a child.
5. Were they overprotected as a child? Sheltered?
Between the multitude of siblings and her very involved parents, Lilly was definitely protected. She was not very sheltered, simply because her parents saw no real danger to shelter her from in their small town.
6. Did they feel rejection or affection as a child?
Lilly was surrounded by affection throughout her childhood. Her family was always very supportive and kind.
7. What was the economic status of their family?
Average, to lower-middle class. Her stepmother worked at a bank and her father helped run a huge farm, so they always had what they needed, but there was not a lot of excess money available at all times.
8. How does your character feel about religion?
Lilly was raised in Church of Christ Christian belief systems, and she never really rejected any type of religion. She does not actively practice any religion, but she is identifies herself as a Christian. (Which is slightly ironic, because her fiance also identifies as Christian.)

Lilly is very book-smart, but she is also very naive.

How the fuck do I answer this I have no idea what to say here
13. Did they like school? Teachers? Schoolmates?
Lilly enjoyed school very much. She never really had any issues, except for a few gym and science classes that she hated in high school. Her teachers were generally very kindhearted, with few exceptions, and the same can be said for her schoolmates.
14. Were they involved at school? Sports? Clubs? Debate? Were they unconnected?
Lilly was always involved in yearbook planning for her school, as well as some cheerleading and things of the like. She joined the chess club but was only a member for a year due to her lack of competitive spirit. She also was an avid member of her school's Home Economics program.
15. Did they graduate? High-School? College? Do they have a PHD? A GED?
Lilly did not graduate high school. She got married in the beginning of her 11th grade year and dropped out to attempt to be a homemaker. After a couple of years of marriage, her husband was working in a warehouse and left Lilly home alone for long periods of time with nothing to do, so she began going to GED classes to get some sort of degree. After her marriages abrupt end and her stay in Kensington Valley Mental Treatment Facility, she graduated from nursing school with honors.
16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?

She hates people who have sour outlooks on life, and people who think too highly of themselves.
22. Who are their friends? Lovers? 'Type' or 'ideal' partner?
Lilly is friends with most of the people in the community, but she considers Madison, Aiden, Meredith and Barrett to be her best friend. The Great Escape | | Zombie Week Prompt
Lux had been carefully surveying the community, ignoring the radio commands for all patients to stay in their homes. She really had never been one to break rules before being admitted to the home, although she had noticed herself defying authority more and more recently. But today, once she'd killed her first zombie that had broken into house seven through the kitchen window, the rush of adrenaline she had felt had been incredible- and she wanted more. Stepping over the decapitated head, Lux grabbed her backpack from the kitchen bench and packed it as best she could in under two minutes- a small pocket knife, water bottle, change of clothes, warm jacket, pocket radio, and a headlamp included, not forgetting her handy zombie killing staff- and slipped out the backdoor, shouldering the pack and waiting a moment to get a grip of her surroundings.
Some houses appeared undisturbed, while others looked like they'd just been thrown by a tornado. Several groups of zombies could be heard around the community, but none were in here immeadite sight. A shame, really. She had scaled a large pine tree when the radio went off in her shorts pocket- loudly, like an old World War II air raid siren. Grabbing the device and turning the volume as low as it would go without muting, she checked around her tree. The outburst had gone unnoticed, luckily. She then carefully balanced herself on a branch and raised the radio to her ear. "…Residents of the West Harbor community are advised to evacuate all homes and make their way to the nearest Medical Center… The infected are rapidly approaching… Your homes are no longer safe… Please stay tuned for more information…"
Seriously? People were still in their houses? Zombies were getting in left and right! Shaking her head, Lux looked down at the community. Some of the patients wouldn't be able to survive this on their own. Sighing, she jumped off her branch, landing softly on her feet and looking around. "Alright, kids... Who needs help?"

Writing Prompt/AU || Music & Lyrics || These Days
// I was kind of on the fence about doing a ghost AU for Felix. But, when I went to get Aiden's song for the writing prompt, Nico's 'These Days' started playing and it matched Felix too well for me to be able to pass this up. Seeing as how I am idiotically "productive" at 4am, and because I am overly sentimental right now and I miss the little hedgehog, I made an entire playlist to go with this where you can hear his prompt song {X}. Jesus someone please help me.
I have a headcanon for ghost!Fefe where- now that he doesn't have to worry about bothering anyone with his presence- he goes around following people as they go about their day and talks to them even though they'll never hear him. I don't know who he's talking to in this, so I'll leave that up to your imagination.
Don't get mad at me if this gives you feels. Y'all asked for it. *cough* BIA *cough*
